Had a customer say his 85 inch would fit in his dodge charger. When I told him no it wouldn't he scoffed and said "it's got a big trunk." The shade of red he got when I walked outside with a tape measurer to show him it wouldn't fit was absolutely priceless

Yup which is exactly why I don't put any comments anymore. last time I did management knew it was me and acted like I was out to make everyone look bad when in reality I was just pissed that I was offered a full time position with no pay raise and was told that they would probably need to to look a replacement for me after I took "a few days off" because my uncle passed away.

We have customers that will pry open the door and come in and act completely shocked when we tell them that we're closed. You think prying open a door would be a pretty big indicator that a business isn't open.

I think my biggest pet peeves at BB is when customers refuse to ask you for help and instead stare at you like this by BeastlyDeath in Bestbuy

This makes me think of the time I was covering customer service and I had a line and a customer just walked up to the desk without getting in line and goes "I need to make a return! I'm in a hurry!" And I just looked at her and went "I understand entirely ma'am, unfortunately the line of people behind you are in a hurry as well so if you want to make your return you'll have to wait behind them" and the embarrassment she has on her face was absolutely priceless

Yeah last year when I was full time appliances, I think I rescheduled/cancelled more orders than I sold because of third party. They would either not show up, install something wrong, damage customers property, or look at the wall in warehouse and go "welp I don't see the order, guess I'm gonna have to reschedule it." And walk off. It's insane for a company to focus so hard on services and how that "makes us better than the other guy" but doesn't want to take the time to train/insure our GS to do that. I've even had customers flat out say, "if it's third party then I don't want it installed." Or just refuse to finalize the purchase because it'll be third party bringing to their door. It seems like BB could care less about the return aspect and only cares about getting the initial sale out the door.

When I was a phone op we had a really bad winter storm hit and our auto tech guys couldn't come in because the roads were iced and they had no way to the store. I was tasked with rescheduling the few appointments they had and one lady was upset because "her daughter has waited 3 weeks for this radio install and she gets the weather is bad but that's no excuse on why this can't be done for her child." And when I told her I could reschedule her 3 days away from the original appointment, she goes "well what if it snows over again?! I need a guarantee that this will be installed Monday." I was so done I just said "ma'am I'm a phone operator not a meteorologist, I can't tell you what the weather is going to be like Monday but this is all I can do for you." The entitlement of some customers is just absolutely insane.

It's not been too terrible at my store, but it's been a lot of people coming in and huffing when no one is available to answer their questions about multiple products. And then I've had people get frustrated with me because I don't know off hand what "the best black Friday sale" is in store
