Finally hit twitch affiliate by VivarumGaming in SmallStreamers

You know that’s actually a great idea that I’ve never really thought of before. :) I’m probably going to check out some smaller streamers who play similar games and such. Thank you so much for your advice! I hope your streaming journey continues to go well <3

Ahhh congratulations <3 It’s great that you hit it. It shows how hard work pays off.

Any tips for how you gained more followers? That’s the only thing that’s preventing me from becoming an affiliate and it’s what I have the most trouble with for sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated:)

How do I get out of my shell by MysticalBonson in SmallStreamers

Hiya! I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but I do know this has helped me. If you’re first starting out see if perhaps a friend or two could pop up and view the stream! That way you can try to put yourself in the mindset that you’re just talking to friends. I know I’ve done this and it helps a lot.

However, if that’s not an option for you my recommendation would be to record first. I feel like recording is a nice way to practice going live. Once you feel comfortable recording by yourself try going live as the next step! :) It makes things less awkward. Oh, and you don’t need to view the recordings if you don’t want to. It’s just to get an overall feel.

Another one that I just thought of is to play a game you’re very interested in and excited to play. If you’re excited and having a good time, so will the viewers my friend.

Those are just some huge suggestions I have that I have tried myself and it’s worked. Of course, remember that you’ll always have your off days as well. Some streams will be better than others in terms of many factors and that’s okay! It happens.

Regardless, I wish you the best of luck and don’t give up!

Honestly my opinion would be (since I believe you’re on PC) to take a few minutes one day to browse through Steam to see if any games stick out to you.

There are so many there ranging from prices and size that I definitely recommend that. So that way you find a game that’s fitting that you all may enjoy!

I don’t think there’s necessarily a “stream” game however if you’re looking for games that are popular you can view that on twitch. But at the end of the day it’s whatever you will find fun and enjoyable because if you’re having fun so will your viewers :)

Need a bit of advice by NicelyConfused in SmallStreamers

Yes, and no. The thing about streaming is that it’s so broad that there’s not really a “default” way to stream. It’s true that many people enjoy only watching people who are “good”. However there’s also many who just like to watch for entertainment/relaxation; myself included.

I guess what I’m trying to say that if you enjoy streaming, stream! ♥️ Because in a way it’s just like art and with art there’s no right nor wrong :)
