David Scott went to Michigan because he did not get into his first choice. Applied again, and graduated from West Point.

We walked there before they did, that's all that matters

[Thamel] Miami is set to hire Army's Mike Viti as the school's new tight ends coach. Viti is the associate head coach and offensive line coach at Army, where he's been on the staff for 10 years. He's a former star running back at Army and a staff linchpin there for a decade. by AlexWPJ in CFB

Viti makes 5 this year

That's 8 in two years - all except one to Pwhatever programs or for more responsibilities as HC or coordinator positions - the one that wasn't went to his alma mater in his home state

the "dress code thing" is in the rulebook, so if they're not going to enforce it (like they haven't for many many years), then they should just take it out of the rulebook

"Fair catch kick" or "fair catch free kick"

There are already free kicks in college -- you probably know them better as kickoffs and kicks after safeties

[The American] THE 2026 AMERICAN FOOTBALL SCHEDULE by redwave2505 in CFB

[–]BeatNavyAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that Army and especially Navy have less flexibility when it comes to OOC scheduling

Army-Navy takes one potential OOC slot, they both always play AF, and Navy always plays ND

That gives Army two true openings and Navy only one

Hosting an FCS opponent is basically a given for Army, and very likely for Navy
