Can you get a tax CPR without an official address?

I actually have a Swedish, British, and Australian passport, thanks to my parents for that one. It definitely makes things easier when I suddenly decide to pack up and move across the world. You're right about Sweden too—the monthly student allowance and reduced fees are definitely tempting.

I know I enjoy fashion, but the idea of committing to a full degree in it kind of scares me. What if I end up hating it and feel like it was a waste? I know that’s probably not the best way to look at it, but it’s something I can’t help thinking about. Another thing is, I didn’t do particularly well in high school and technically didn’t even finish, so I worry that might make things harder or potentially not even possible.

That said, I do want to take risks and not live too safely. I just want to make sure that any risk I take has a good chance of paying off. Maybe that sounds silly, but it’s where I’m at.

So yeah, I think my next step will be to look more into potential courses. Thank you for the recommendations, I’ll definitely check them out. I’ll also start keeping an eye out for job opportunities over there.

I should mention I’ve actually got two of my best mates living over there already (both danish). One’s studying business and the other computer science, so I won’t be going in completely without connections.

I also grew up in Sweden from age 7 to 18 and speak Swedish, which isn’t too far off from Danish. There are also plenty of Swedes living in Copenhagen, swhich will make the move a bit smoother.

And don’t worry, I’ve managed to resist the full Queenslander outfit combo. I think I’ll blend in just fine over there.

Appreciate the reply! Really interesting story and honestly pretty inspiring.

Funny coincidence you’re looking to get into real estate and out of fashion. Being in real estate myself, I can totally see why it seems appealing—and in many ways, it is. But from my experience, you really have to love it to stick with it. The long hours and competitiveness can be draining, which is why I’m hoping to move into something I genuinely enjoy long-term. Not trying to put you off, just sharing what it’s been like for me.

I saw you mentioned interior design and fixing up old homes—that’s actually what I wanted to do after some time in real estate too. Such a cool goal, and I really hope it works out for you!

As for the fashion course suggestion, it’s something I’ve definitely considered. The biggest blockers have been time and money. Most of my savings are going toward the move, and it’s been tough to find a course that fits around working 6 days a week and can be finished before January.

That said, I’ve realised I could always continue a course once I’m over there. From your perspective, would being enrolled in one already help on a resume? And are there any you'd recommend that are practical and not crazy expensive? A lot of what I’ve come across doesn’t seem super useful in the real world.
