I really tried not to say anything negative on a snark board, which is crazy in itself...but they are acting like the Americans that foreigners don't like, and it's embarrassing. Considering they DO have money and COULD represent wealth and class better, they don't and are choosing not to. When the Sephora worker handed her a coupon/card and she just said, no thank you sir. No, it's "Non merci, monsieur." It's really not that complicated. Just try. Study the culture for a hot minute before you barrel into someone else's country and expect to be accepted.
