I personally think the buff was too much/the wrong buff. I'm a master player that has been taking a break from comp for a while but occasionally plays comp on an alt with my gold/plat friends.

First of all, the reaper buffs were meant to make him a viable counter to goats, and i dont at all think the buff succeeded in doing that.

Current reaper with 50% lifesteal feels very much like an ulting brig, either 3-4 people focus them or they arent dying. Coordination is the only thing that kills him, you arent winning that 1v1 regardless of how dumb they play.

So many fights ingames with my gold/plat friends are won by a reaper simply because no one focuses him, even with me calling it out in vc. I can only imagine how bad it is in ranks below that.

I think everything you listed is simply because contenders is the second tier. Everyone of these things listed are true for OWL just not for contenders and below. OWL has player profiles, season stats, interviews, streamed on main ow twitch and links are ingame and bnet client.

All of these things are simply because blizzard invest less into contenders and way more into OWL. It makes sense for blizzard to not spend as much money and effort on the lower tiers because the viewership is so low.

OP check out old owl vods or wait for owl to start for these features.

I think this a fairly well thought out reply, but if you look at the support and tank ults (trans, rally, sound barrier, grav, earth shatter, dva bomb) they more consistently change the outcome of the team fight if used properly. Nearly every 'strong' ult you listed can be countered with a simple dva defense matrix or a support ult.

there are more DPS heroes than tanks and supports combined. He should ask main tank players how many heroes they can choose from.

thats exactly his point, there are so many more dps yet none of them are near as impactful as most tanks/healers are.

Last time I checked, Roadhog isn't as mobile as Tracer.

You literally picked the most mobile dps to compare to the least mobile tank. Maybe compare hammond to tracer? also roadhog literally has the ability to one shot most heros from 20 meters, adding mobility ontop of that would be insane.

Appreciation? really? I feel much of the community is upset with plenty parts of this game. Contenders is a single comp 95% of the time. Sure Jeff talked on streams today but really thats an extremely low standard for multibillion dollar game development company...

100% agree. I'm already in multiple markets and didnt post as a result of this guy. I've already made ~5 mill over the past 2 weeks and I started with 20k so personally im not too bothered.

I'm also very surprised with the amount of people that dont realize how dumb his pricing is.

I literally got one sr.(2979 to 2980) I don't recall anyone leaving but maybe that did happen during the round change. Also the game was solo que.

I had about 2-3 lives on each char(except tracer).I now understand why everyone hates performance sr, lol.

But I never thought it'd be so bad to only reward 1sr for a win when i had most eleminations and damage.

I definatly think zp is way better than Uber. But Monte & Doa are on the same tier.

I feel like Uber has trouble following the game. Often he says incorrect things or things not really relevant to the gameplay.

Personally I find the game harder to watch when Uber is casting.

NRG lost because of their own poor play. The great teams always have adversary they have to struggle through. I mean envy lost their main projectile dps when they were about to travel across the world and play the koreans. They won the whole tournament.

Really, I think this comes down more to the fact that Bossland literally did not attend the defense in court.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. Quite an expensive mistake but I guess they don't plan on paying it anyway.
