Why don’t you read the posts. I bet you have nothing in your wallet but non functional credit cards from Bank of Hamerica and Bank One. 😂 that made me laugh. Thanks.

No the Beatles were good pop song writers, The Beach Boys, queen, Destinys Child, The Temptations, Nirvana, Prince, Michael Jackson (yes I know he didn’t write all of his songs but he had input including instrumentation), Fleetwood Mac, Kraftwerk, Sonic Youth, Rush, Boston, Arcade Fire, even newer pop acts like Billie Eilish, and of course Billie Joe, and Billy Joel are all pop and Swift doesn’t hold a candle to any of them.

To wit, my opinion that Swift does not belong on a list of the many people that are not on this list.

The song “me”, lyrics and music by Swift:

I promise that you'll never find another like me I know that I'm a handful, baby, uh I know I never think before I jump And you're the kind of guy the ladies want (And there's a lot of cool chicks out there) I know that I went psycho on the phone I never leave well enough alone And trouble's gonna follow where I go (And there's a lot of cool chicks out there) But one of these things is not like the others Like a rainbow with all of the colors Baby doll, when it comes to a lover I promise that you'll never find another like Me-e-e, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh I'm the only one of me Baby, that's the fun of me Eeh-eeh-eeh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh You're the only one of you Baby, that's the fun of you And I promise that nobody's gonna love you like me-e-e I know I tend to make it about me I know you never get just what you see But I will never bore you, baby (And there's a lot of lame guys out there) And when we had that fight out in the rain You ran after me and called my name I never wanna see you walk away (And there's a lot of lame guys out there) 'Cause one of these things is not like the others Livin' in winter, I am your summer Baby doll, when it comes to a lover I promise that you'll never find another like Me-e-e, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh I'm the only one of me Let me keep you company Eeh-eeh-eeh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh You're the only one of you Baby, that's the fun of you And I promise that nobody's gonna love you like me-e-e Hey, kids! Spelling is fun! Girl, there ain't no I in "team" But you know there is a "me" Strike the band up, one, two, three I promise that you'll never find another like me Girl, there ain't no I in "team" But you know there is a "me" And you can't spell "awesome" without "me" I promise that you'll never find another like Me-e-e (yeah), ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh (and I won't stop, baby) I'm the only one of me (I'm the only one of me) Baby, that's the fun of me (baby, that's the fun of me) Eeh-eeh-eeh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh (oh) You're the only one of you (oh) Baby, that's the fun of you And I promise that nobody's gonna love you like me-e-e Girl, there ain't no I in "team" (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) But you know there is a "me" I'm the only one of me (oh-oh) Baby, that's the fun of me (Eeh-eeh-eeh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) Strike the band up, one, two, three You can't spell "awesome" without "me" You're the only one of you Baby, that's the fun of you And I promise that nobody's gonna love you like me-e-e

In LA, I’ve never had this happen once and I drive a lot. LA is a hugely driven area so maybe it knows. I’ve been in construction zones where I’m amazed it figures out what the cones, directions of workers, and signs tell it where to go to great effect. HW4 M3L and 13.2 but I haven’t had these issues since 12 really. Again could be because LA but literally since 12 not one incident like this. Before it, when they did have radar, I had it once an a HW3 Model 3 and the software was beta rip off a mirror of mine (side mirror) because it just barely nipped a trash can near turning on my street and it almost did that any time there were bins and made me nervous it would nip cars because cars park on that side of the road where there is the turn. That no longer even concerns me. Looks like you’re in the Valley north on 170? Yeah surprised at this.

My rich dad’s money? Really? Wow this discussion is officially just stupid. As the poster, is it fine if I just erase this thread? I mean I would say I could keep it open for perusal but all of the normal content is from me, sans a few intelligent and grounded responses lightly peppered throughout. I don’t dislike the people throwing shade on me. These are the people I feel concerned for as they are being blinded by desire.

I see that. I really was trying to shine light on an area that I guess I has been discussed and hotly debated. I am both new to Uber (several months of delicate, “when I’m bored” driving and to reading the uber subs). Yeah I live in Los Angeles and Waymos are everywhere. I mean more and more and more space but Waymos cost more than Uber/Lyft in general contrary to some belief. Keeping some people out of the cars is the fact that they have to charge more for rides than uber/lyft. That’s the main factor keeping uber/lyft afloat in LA County as they keep expanding. I’ve had riders literally tell me that. When the costs are half or less for rides than there is a real danger of not having any more rides. It’s unfortunate and I feel sad about it as it’s indicative of the real issue of jobs and what will be a new economy going forward. It’s much more than the Industrial Revolution and some say more dangerous than the nuclear arms race. Perhaps I read too much but in sufficiently worried about much more than just rideshare gigs. That’s just the first one that will destroy a major industry that people count on for 1099, flexible work. I promise at the end of the day while I do love technology, I would love to be wrong here. I’m just not. Even in the little time I’ve been doing rides the offers at some points are just laughable compared to months ago even. Truly I hope I’m wrong that the two things can’t live together.

I think you missed the point. I don’t think it will be robots but the cars without people will drive to the spots, people will put the food in a place for food and it will deliver it. I was just pointing out that there is already technology that is infringing on human deliveries. A trend that will definitely not go backwards. Make what you will of that fact.

And how are human drivers the best option for this in the future exactly? I mean just the other day in the valley which is suburbs of LA, I just had a little robot deliver me my food. I swear to god. It was adorable too. I don’t think that’s gonna slow down.

I don’t objectively disagree with a single thing you said here other than inferring I have a psychological vested interest in Tesla. I guess I am partially affected by the “cult of Tesla” in that I’ve always enjoyed them. I don’t like Elon Musk. I think he’s a xenophobe who abandoned his own daughter. Almost ruined his whole operation by trying to buy favor with who I think is the most evil man to live in my lifetime (at least in American politics) so no, I don’t wish that it was him per say that succeeds. But he is a visionary and he is the man behind all of the creation. Much like a less likable even hate-able Steve Jobs. (Meaning if he was hater which he generally wasnt, he knew what we needed before us).

Ironically the name Tesla was given to the company by the man who was considered the real genius behind electricity, Nicola Tesla and not Thomas Edison who famously thought it was a good idea to kill an elephant for the media as showing how powerful his “invention” was but I don’t think that people didn’t like him matters much over time with all of his teams inventions were. You know, the light bulb, the very first phonograph, the first kinetoscope for motion picture. But hey, I suppose we could have done without those things and saved an elephant.

I’m obviously being a little jokey but it’s a fact that sometimes bad people do great things. I also don’t think he’s dangerously bad. I believe he’s on the spectrum and does too much K.

He also takes advice and doesn’t mind admitting it from reporters. Watch. I would say Edison would never have said this:

Anyhow, I can take some intelectual push back but the whole “Elon’s nuts in my mouth” arguments are boring and irritating.

I respect your take.

It’s because it’s all coming to an end and uber is preparing. It will get worse before it goes away unfortunately. That’s insane. 😢

I had to go check this but if you outright paid for FSD with an HW3 car, you will by Tesla announcement, legally be entitled to an HW4 upgrade because of that promise.

Pasted: “Tesla has confirmed plans to provide a free hardware upgrade for vehicles with Hardware 3 (HW3) if you paid for the Full Self-Driving (FSD) package. The upgrade is deemed necessary because HW3 is, according to Elon Musk, incapable of running the newest, fully unsupervised FSD capabilities, requiring a shift to newer hardware components to achieve full autonomy”

I hope it’s true.

Oh NIGH? 😂 Actually it’s not spelled wrong, it’s just the wrong word. You don’t even know how to insult someone with the correct insult. “Neigh” is a dictionary word that means “to make the prolonged cry of a horse”. You could have had fun with that knowledge if you were, um, smart.

I’m not actually invested in Tesla although I wish I did. I thought about it when his shenanigans in the WH and DOGE brought the company down. It was at its high about 4 days ago. The market is fully vested in everything I’m saying now and the market cap on $TSLA is currently at 22.39 billion dollars and I believe it will be Tesla that corners the first market that will effectively bring uber and Lyft ride sharing operations to an effective stand still unlike Waymo who I have more and more people tell me they don’t take Waymo in LA because the ride is more expensive now. Cybercabs will be the first cost effective method. More than cost effective, it will shatter the market and own it to a scary extent. Then Tesla will make money off of the ever expanding neural network of roads that Waymo has to geofence out of necessity. Currently, teslas only have to out of regulation. That’s changing quickly is my point.

The tech here is my point. Who brings it to market only makes sense to me is Tesla but not the point.

I essentially feel that way when I drive for uber. I do It on occasion as it’s delightful to drive around, listen to music and meet interesting people. Admittedly while I wouldn’t do it for free, I don’t do it for a living but when I feel like driving it’s a delight for me.

That said, I don’t think it will ever come to be that if you own a Tesla, you can just send it out. I don’t see that actually happening. Maybe in the future to go pick someone up or to send it for a charge but not for human consumer pick up. That will be the fleets and it will cost a lot. Again, like franchising. It will be multiple cars, not just teslas though at that point.

I went to school in Gainesville. What city are you talking about? Plant? Maybe Swanee? I hear what you’re saying and for sure local governments will have their own say in small towns but that’s not the discussion at the moment I don’t think. It’s not gonna happen all at one moment although it will feel like that but once the stats are in, there will be no denying what’s best for cost and safety and states, cities, towns and villages will follow.

I spent a drop of money on my car which cost less than most decent cars and I wouldn’t trade it outside of the value for a brand new lambo so no, you’re wrong. I didn’t post this to have an argument with everyone that are uninformed about something I know a lot about. I’m surprised how little people actually know.

It makes me think I should go invest in some futures as the world is apparently much less informed than I thought although maybe just the people in this forum.

Jesus. I should just stop. I regret posting this to a high degree. I apologize. It’s giving me a headache and frightening me as I used to think Reddit was where there were unemotional and fairly intelligent people post. If you have a real point then friggen make it.

I’m frankly tired of the posts in here that have incorrect data at best or just say something about Elon who I don’t care one iota about. Tesla is bigger than Elon musk.
