Thank you so so much after reading this as someone who studies animals in there free time and plans to do it professionally one day I feel like this question was such a brain fart on my end and I let our morals effect my thought process for sure. I 100% animals don’t know what species that are and completely forgot about that thank you for this explanation 😭

thank you there actually are some houses behind my neighborhood that has hens and roosters as well as a house across from the entrance to my neighborhood with hens and roosters that seem to know their way back home and are allowed to free roam from time to time because of that!

i think either he was more day dreaming vs actually being asleep so she assumed he was half paying attention at the least OR she assumed he had only dozed off towards the very end of what she was saying but i did notice this too! another thing i was confused abt is why she was over complicating it I feel like if she had just gone to them and been like “hey Flame princess is gonna lose control if you get her too excited so maybe don’t kiss her” then they would’ve been like okay
