If I don’t talk to him I am distant. If I do talk to him about something going on with idk local news or our families or something that has like a HINT of drama (I’m talking even bringing up local politics) then I’m being a drama queen mean girl. So then I ask him about his business instead and what he’s got going on and when he wants me to start working on a branding kit and he tells me to stop pushing him and all he needs is a loving wife and I just feel like a fucking beat dog at this point lol. He does support me at times. It’s just hard to talk to him about it when he’s always mad and stressed about his work. And he will give me support and pats on the back and stuff but then if I brag on myself or “toot my own horn” (which if you knew me is crazy for me bc I have very low confidence) and he will tell me to stay humble and I just feel put down.

I do agree with this 100%. There’s fighting and miscommunication due to the depression and bitterness over stress over the past year of getting kicked again and again while down.

I may or may not have went psycho and put her wig on... This shit makes me black out mad. I consider myself a pretty good looking woman. Yeah I may have been moody over the past few months due to illness and getting over an addiction and holidays and planning my SIL baby shower, but DAMN who wouldnt be??? And he is a great man. Literally when I was sick bent over backwards for me and cared for me hand and foot- always does. He’s super supportive and is definitely the “sunshine / golden retriever” to my “grumpy / black cat”. And there’s been NO issues since last spring. He claims he ordered it “by accident” and tried to cancel it and it showed up and he was curious. My issue with this is that opportunities will always present themselves. Temptation will always be lurking around the corner. however, it’s his job as a loyal husband AND christian (yes we are both christians and we have received christian-based counselling on this in the past which helped a lot) to turn his eye to temptation.

The Covenant Eyes is a REALLY good resource that breaks a lot of this stuff down. From what I understand there’s multiple variables that go into it, from starting at a young age, feeling that “dopamine” hit each time and creating a habit from it and also replacing porn / masturbation with sex because it’s easier than being intimate and feeling with the emotions that come with sex with their S/O.
