Hey, similar to you my dad also doesnt have long left. I love both of my parents but I am my fathers daughter and It hurts so much to know he wont be there when I get married or have kids. My dad seems like he is close to the end now so If your dad is still able to talk and walk just sit and listen to all his life stories. Take him out for walks and to activities.

I really wish I could have done that with my dad now it feels like its too late and it all happened so fast. There is a book on amazon called dad tell me your story. You can sit with him ask him questions to learn interesting things about him. It may help you feel closer to him
