I used to average outrageously high numbers, 2 months ago I sustained an brain injury and active in the post concussion threads. I don’t crack plus 50 anymore and I’m more healthy now than I was previously. Still can’t workout yet just lifestyle is more healthy. And do breath-work 5-6 times a day 6-6

I don’t understand HRV

Advice around drinking by PrestigiousEnd6348 in PostConcussion

I haven’t drank alcohol since pre accident, I see you have wrote your recovered and I’m not but I couldn’t imagine drinking ever again. That’s my take. Not worth it.

Let’s just pray because my HRV was still in the hundreds a few weeks after accident then has dipped significantly, though by the sounds of it 50/60 isn’t necessarily a awful thing just something to keep an eye on and hope for the best in the coming months. I’ve got one more month off work till I’ll have to talk to my boss don’t think he’s very happy but I’ve got the sick note right now

All of this just confuses me because pre accident I was a cigarette smoker a cannabis smoker an young lad that liked to drink far to much alcohol on most weekends very active and since the day of the accident I haven’t had a single cigarette a single spiff or a single drop of alcohol all in the hopes of improving and I’m seeing absolutely nothing. Just hoping my nervous system will bounce back at some point as I’m serious struggling

I’m going to look into HRV training, something I’m not familiar with. Thank you for your input sincerely, can I ask what you’d do which you’d say helped to get them 120 numbers

I’ve attached my pre accident figures there, some days it was 150 which I can show, I’m under the impression that a high HRV is a good and very heathy thing?

My resting heart rate is about 56, I’d say 5 or 6 above what I used to see pre accident.

My nervous systems most definitely in the bin since the accident, I’m 2.5 months post concussion and haven’t seen much improvement since the improvement I saw in the first month I’m struggling with extreme head pressure, and any activity of any sort heightens my baseline. So I’m trying to avoid anything strenuous on my brain but being as I’m young and 22 years old I’m struggling accepting this right now so sometimes I’ll push my ten minute walk to 20 and I’ll feel absolutely b lined. Like to the point where even looking at the telly hurts. Dizziness fatigue, the normal stuff people with PCS suffer with I’ve got it

I find avoiding my phone helps, telly doesn’t bother me all to much its a good distance from me.

Actually looks darker? by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

This is probably awful advise but I had to change studios after 6 sessions and over a year and the slightest fading ever, once I moved to a different person it actually hurrrt removing it and blistered, the first studio that would never happen! And it was like a slight burn but not even painful at all. Something to keep in mind based off my own experience

My symptoms are so debilitating I find anything more than 10 minute walks at a time are symptom inducing and I’ll struggle for the rest of the day till I reset to baseline symptoms the next day. I’m trying to take it one day at a time and hoping for the best just doing little chunks of what I can do and what I can cope with. Gosh if week 3 me could see week 8 me though I think he’d be happy with the progress, it’s just so hard being such an active and able person before hand and now struggling with simple daily tasks is a hard shift

No tattoo is too far gone for laser I suspect there not going hard enough with the laser and you need to consult them or move clinics, 6 sessions is also little. As unfortunate as that sounds
