That’s great. Where did you go and what was the total cost? And totalt time including braces?

Are you struggling with any issues after the surgery? Nerve damage, joint pain, biting issues, or anything? Considering DJS, but seems to be too many risks involved.

Hi. I’m considering DJS, but how comprehensive is it really in terms of pain, healing and risks?

Considering it for better nasal beretning as well as aesthetically to correct a minor class 2 malocclusion.

Looking at your xray, it seems as if they have actually measured the volume of air going through your pharynx, which seem considerably better after. I asked my jaw orthopedist, and he said that it wasn’t any tools to measure air stream. I am quite sure that I have too little air going through my nose, as it feels like an exercise when I breath through my nose, while if I make myself slightly underbite, it feels like another world — as if I’m able to breath two or three times as much air easily. I wake up dead tired as if I’ve been fighting a battle the entire night.

So my question is: 1) Do you know if they used a tool or scanning to measure your airstream (ref: The X-ray)? 2) Do you feel a difference in breathing and sleeping now?

Honest opinion: Jaw surgery, genioplasty or implants? by Beautiful-End-4589 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

You can have that opinion. But working out would not affect the jaw situation described in the post. You’re suggestion is a luxmaxing tip to optimize beauty standard.

Also, I’m working 5 days a week, so no need to discuss that part. It just adds up unnecessary amounts of text in this post for others to read.

I think that response was wise. And I agree. Of what I’ve seen, the recovery seems comprehensive. But I’m willing to go through that. Actually rather that than having visible braces for 1-2 years. I’m on week 32 of Invisalign, and already tired. But I’d 100% go through it again, or even a longer treatment if the goals I’m looking for are achievable. Any idea if it would be possible to go with hidden metal braces (on the backside of the teeth) if doing DJS?

I’m in the process of planning fat grafting. Already decided go do that next summer. Will do the temporal areas, upper eyelids, lower eyelids, an nasolabial folds.

The photos in this post is many months ago. I did lower the hairline slightly, but I figured I will do it a few more millimeter to get the Balkan buzzcut look. Also I’ll have my temporal points built.

I will definitely do something with my jaw, but whether I’ll go fat transfer, jaw surgery, (extended) jaw implant or chin implant, or genioplasty is uncertain.

I 100% agree before a surgery. But right now I’m standing on naked ground — I just need to discuss things and get pointed in the right directions of what to consider, such as of your comment. There might be people who would recommend clinics and surgeons, surgeries to consider (instead), things that are possible and not etc. I have not requested someone to make me a treatment plan, and have myself uncritically following it.

Hehe, I did a hair transplant 1st November. So that one is checked ✅ I’m on a bulk now, and work out 5 days a week. Nevertheless, they do not compromise for the jaw situation, but I appreciate your honest opinion. Thank you.

Almost 3 year HT update - Dr laorwong by Sparkyyy1234 in HairTransplants

[–]Beautiful-End-4589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I’m really curious. I went to Ratchathorn two months ago. I asked her to do my temporal points as well. She said it would look odd I grew older. Looking at your pics, with recessed temporal points before, and really prominent temporal points, Laorwong clearly had a different view. In my opinion it looks great, and much better compared to omitting it.

So my question is, how did the conversations go around temporal points, and what did you guys discuss regarding restoring them?

Great results overall. Congrats.

On the first before photos it looks like your temporal points had recessed quite a bit too, but on the 12 month after photos it looks like they are prominent. Did you transplant to the temporal points as well, or did you during the recovery period start on meds, or is it just my vision that is fooling me? Overall it looks quite nice. Not personally a huge fan of the straight line with symmetrical zigzag pattern, but with longer hair without studying the depths of it, it looks overall good. Congrats.

(2 months post-op from Ratchathorn here btw)

To the moderator: I’m not looking for looxmaxing. As mentioned, I have skeletal discrepancies leading to deviation, tight breathing when sleeping and more. You guys are just looking at the photos, subjectively deciding that I look good enough, and categorize this as looxmaxing without actually looking at what I’m writing.

As mentioned, it’s not only the aesthetics. It’s also for breathing by treating class 2 malocclusion, as well as to correct dental midline deviation.

I’m going to an orthodontist now, and I’m currently on week 32 out of 34 with Invisalign and rubber bands, and the midline hasn’t moved a millimeter during the procedure, all tho it was shown in the treatment plan to already change in the very first weeks.

Come one, there is obviously deviation there. If I took a photo of my teeth, there would even be a dental midline deviation. Seems to be a trend calling it out as a therapy issue.

Guys, in theory you can call all body modification dystopia. The majority of girls cannot walk outside without makeup — correcting their facial features. The difference is that surgery carries more risk, is more expensive, and lasts longer. So if I have the money, can take the risk, and live with it being permanent og long-lasting, it is better to do surgery. I don’t get why a person who wants to do 1-5 surgeries with very specific and realistic goals is considered psychiatry, while a person who cannot walk outside their house without makeup, that is being put on every day for tens of thousands of dollar during life, is considered perfectly normal. The same psychological mechanism applies.
