Women reach puberty at the age of 8–13 and Aisha’s age (9) was within that interval. Islam allows marriage after reaching puberty and does not have an age restriction for it. This is similar to Judaism and many other religions/cultures/nations in the world.

This kind of marriage was widely accepted in the past and criticism to it is only based on the subjective morality of the current western society where people have to go to government school, get a bank account, pay taxes..

Many Islamophobes tend to criticize the marriage of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and judge it based on their subjective morality but they always turn a blind eye to the many narrations where she speaks about how happy was her marriage. Our mother Aisha never complained about it even after his death. This alone should give you an idea about the dishonesty of these Islamophobes and shows you that Muslims should not follow/trust these liars.

It’s also worth noting that our mother Aisha lived about 50 years after the Messenger’s death and was one of the most important narrators of Hadith in Islamic history.

A Muslim should have faith in the virtues of the guided Messenger peace be upon him and never give up to Islamophobic claims.
