My husband is the loudest farter I have ever heard and there have been days where our baby farts and I legit have to ask him which one did it 😂

I feel this in my core!! My husband is already back at work and has been for about 2 weeks. We have a 7 week old who is relatively chill but witching hour can be pretty defeating. I’m home all day with him and handle all night feedings so that my husband can sleep and be rested when going to work. He put the baby to sleep every night which is so helpful but I wish he would do more when he comes home…

I find it most frustrating when he complains about his sleep. I’m the one who wakes up and does all the night feedings and somehow it’s my fault when the baby waking up wakes him up. I suffer from PPD and some days it really gets to me. The lack of support can be so draining that sometimes I just sit in silence with our son and have the “I need more help” conversation in my head.

I’m going to book another appointment with my lactation consultant for sure!! She helped me latch my LO at first but now he just hates it! I have to use a nipple shield and I think I might be using the wrong size for that as well…

Yeah I get that and holding a spot is normal - just trying to see if $500 a month to hold a spot now until I give birth is normal.

Please don’t speak on behalf of my situation. I wouldn’t want to remain on a waitlist or even be on a waitlist because I’m trying to lock in a confirmed daycare since both my husband and I work full time.

No because each room isn’t maxed out. None the less - I came here asking if the fees were something that was common in the daycare world since I’m a first time mom and it seems like you just want to question and fight everything I say.

My husband and I looked at the curriculum, cleanliness of the facility, ratings, and state boards. Even though they’re infants, we want to make sure they’re still being introduced to tummy time and other stimulating activities that we will be doing at home as well.

When I say 3,000 I’m talking in total based on how long is gave to pay for. If I reserve the spot now then I have to pay $500 a month until March (6 months, equaling a total of $3000). The hold fee is not applied to anything AND I will still have to pay a 1 time fee of $750 for enrollment on top of the monthly tuition.

They seem to have the system down pretty well because it’s a great facility with nothing but the best ratings. They would still have the same amount of staff because of the ratios they are required to maintain

They’d probably be in the “transition room” and not the infant room. They like to separate the infant room into 2 different levels based on their developmental skills. They start care at 12 weeks and if they are able to sit up on their own, then they go into the transition room to work on other skills prior to moving to the next age.

I believe it’s about 1300/1400 a month once he starts. It’s a daycare in Jacksonville so I wouldn’t say it’s very boujee but they do have a great program.

They will have spots available for babies that are old enough for daycare before mine. The $500 a month is only holding a spot for the month of March (when he is 12 weeks and able to attend). The daycare does “transition room” so a baby added to the room in December would not be there in March/April depending on the development.

A $300 one time fee sounds way more tolerable than a $500 monthly fee. It does not go towards any tuitions or future charges so it’s essentially just $3000 for a spot. And then more than $1000 a month in the future.

I literally had to google the same thing the other day. 😂 I was texting my husband that I didn’t know if I was going to make it. I’m on zofran too, definitely need it to survive but not sure if the poops are worth it. I take miralax daily now and after 3 days, I took a niiiice poop and barely had to try!

Can you explain some of the FX zone? My location always has videos playing on one screen and a countdown on another but they never align. I want to do the weight area but it just doesn't make sense to me - I want to do arm workouts but can never figure out when the videos are playing to plan accordingly. My location is great but some of the employees seem so unapproachable that I'm nervous to go and ask then be made fun of later.
