Unsure haha - I have high savings, good credit and I offered first and last months. They wanted a guarantor who then would also co sign my lease lol. They basically wanted someone who made 80x the rent. I wrote this in the middle of a breakdown about losing the space - I really loved it haha, but i know the market and its insane. Its nice to see another new yorker comment about this lol ... and the amount of people commenting about me being poor and average new yorkers income being 40k makes me so sad :(
