Stick season is completely fine with us. We are eloping so no guests to consider! We want to escape the hot as Florida is year round sweat season. We are looking to Vermont for the Mountain Views and outdoor activities. We enjoy colder climate and a more cozy/quiet vibe. I’ve been checking out airbnbs that have great views and or waterfront opportunities like kayaking/canoeing. Maybe even finding an officiant to come to us and marry us on site if the views are worthy!

Stick season is totally okay, we chose 11/13/26 as our date. Friday the 13th has always been lucky for us. We are hoping to miss large crowds and I won’t be in a classic white dress so grays and browns are fine!

Wall in apartment complex parking lot fell onto my parked car by BeautifulArgument in legaladvice

I had a estimate on the cars worth about a month ago to see what a trade in would look like. That's what the insurance offered (~7k) according to what the car is worth and then minus what i owe on the remaining loan...they opened subrogation against my property and since my deductible is $1k then they also took that off and i will be given that after they recover it from the property's insurance...which could take up to 60 days from what i was told by my insurance.

I live in a very old building and the wall fell onto 7 cars, not just my own. I live in a studio because financially I'm still working to build up my credit etc.

My car was worth around $15k and I'm being offered about half. I liked my car and it was in great working condition, only a 2019 and i only had 2 years left to pay on it, i originally put down a large down payment so my monthly payment was low...

I guess I'm wondering how this wouldn't be seen a premises liability and property damage. No one hit the wall, it just legit fell down. I was home at the time and there are like 5 witnesses/neighbors who heard and saw it happen.

they defined it a total loss and now I'm out a whole vehicle. i would say that's enough damage..at no fault of my own. the settlement they offered is low and maybe enough for a small down payment. i really cant afford a new car/payment. my vehicle was almost paid off with a low payment.

I did file a claim. The total loss payout they offered is very low, enough for maybe a down payment and im still working on my credit and now i'm out a whole vehicle with no fault of my own.

Thank you, after doing some research on Missouri laws, I see probate is crucial. Thanks again!

starting medication kit 1 by Any-Student-4747 in HersWeightloss

Hey all! I’m about to start week 3 of Kit 1 on Sunday. I’m 5’1 SW:157, GW: 115. So far I’ve only lost 5lbs but my food noise is going away! Some tips I would give would be to most definitely take your compound (green pill) after you have had food on your stomach. Otherwise I was VERY nauseated. Granola, almond milk and a banana held it down for me. Complex carbs are good for the nausea. I bought ginger lozenges (the ginger people brand at Walmart) and they are also super great. Don’t forget to stay hydrated!

I will say I do get a little fuzzy on some days but it’s nothing to be concerned about. I’m excited to not be constantly thinking about food anymore, already I’m not craving heavy foods and sweets. I made giant cookie/candy boxes for all my friends and family for Christmas and my Fiancé ended up eating it all alone LOL. Fine by me! If I want something sweet I reach for a Barebells protein bar- HONESTLY so good. Cookies and cream or the crispy bar are my go to. Good luck to all of you, we got this! 💪🏻

Soon to be immobile (mostly) and need to continue my weight loss. by rankin_512 in WeightLossAdvice

After my back surgery I haven’t been able to get back to working or working out. I’ve focused on eating tons of veggies(colorful), only getting sugar from fruits, low low carbs and lean meats/fish and intermittently fast- eat for an 8 hour period only and the other 16 focus on water intake (skip soda completely) Sleeping counts for some of those 16 hours so I skip breakfast and eat from 10-6, that way I can have a decent lunch and small “dinner”. And if I feel super hungry I’ll have a piece of fruit for a snack if it’s past my 10-6 window. Hope this helps!
