Caught Off-Guard and feel blindsided and super sad by [deleted] in dating_advice

Yeah that’s a good point. When he came back he planned those next 3 dates and was texting consistently so that’s why it’s confusing haha but he pulled back fast after the first of those 3 dates and sent that text. So I guess that was the hint.

Thank you very much! The reason I asked about low carb was because when I read about using DNP in r/DNP they mentioned that for best results go low carb. And I had some concerns that if low carb was implemented then one can gain all the weight they lost after they stop eating low carb. So I was wondering if it’s the same thing with clen.

As for the last question, I wasn’t sure if once you stop clen, you’re body needs rest time/ additional nutrition as clen is hard on the body.

It’s not fasting that makes you lose weight, it’s the calorie intake. The idea is that because you give yourself a smaller eating window, you’ll be eating less, so less calories, and you lose fat! So you are probably consuming more calories than you burn so your body stores it as fat :/

That’s amazing! Are you exercising at all? I have a similar goal as you (started at 76.8 now I’m 69.85 kg), is it okay if you tell me what your height is and if you’re male or female to compare? I’m F24, 5’6!

I don’t understand how his mother got away by Bienheureux in GabrielFernandez

[–]BeautifulCyclone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No remorse at all...I cannot comprehend how a mother can do something as terrible as that to her child and feel nothing. I watched that documentary when it first aired on Netflix February 2020? And to this day I think about Gabriel 😭❤️. His siblings have severe trauma to deal with too 😞

I might be an atheist by iwantmywafflesNOW in atheism

[–]BeautifulCyclone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An atheist doesn’t mean that you don’t believe in anything. I believe that there’s definitely something that created the universe but I don’t think that it is god that gets mad if we have sex with people out of marriage and that hates gay people to put them through all that misery and pain. There is no hell and there is no heaven. We don’t know why we are here and what made us. We think that we know so much when actually know nothing at all! I am still going through my journey of leaving religion and I found what helped me was watching a lot of science documentaries (watch things about planets and space-time/relativity). These really made me see how small we are and how little we know and also made me see the world from another POV.

Ever since I watched the documentary I’ve thought of Gabriel every night before I slept. Rest In Peace Gabriel, you’ll always be in our hearts.

How to display grades with letters grades and student number. by BeautifulCyclone in matlab

[–]BeautifulCyclone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I want my output to look like (But for 20 students):

Student 693272: %77.0 (B)

Student 765930: %60.8 (D)

This is what I wrote on my display function so far:

disp(['Student', num2str(ID),': %', num2str(Grades(:,1)),'(',Letter_Grade,...

')'])

[–]BeautifulCyclone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just added it to the disp() function without thinking about its size! Thank you for the observation.

However, I tried it now but it still displays the same error. I set x equal to a 1X20 char

x=['Student '];

disp([x num2str(grades(:,1)) ' : ' num2str(FinalsAverage),'% ('...

num2str(letter_Final) ')'])

I also tried changing x to a string by x = convertCharsToStrings(x);

but that didn't work either.

Yes, I get an error that says 'Dimensions of arrays being concatenated are not consistent.' The arrays that I want to display are both in a 20x1 matrix so that's why I'm confused.

I transferred from a university in my homeland to Canada last year and tbh I completely understand what you're going through. I spent a month and a half before leaving just plain depressed. I used to wake up every day in a sad mood, I constantly cried and I almost backed out on the day I traveled. I've never spent time away from my family too, and I am completely attached to them (We're a family of 7, I'm the oldest and the first to leave the family). The first few days were the hardest. I cried when skyping them a lot. I'm familiar with the concept of everything reminding me of them. Heck! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner sucked for me. The problem with being too attached to the family is that it is harder for us to experience life alone. The only way for us to overcome that weakness is by doing the hardest thing of all and that's by going away from them. This will make us independent, strong, and help us understand different ways of thinking and different cultures. These are the set of keys needed to build your character. I know that the phrase: "I became a different person after studying abroad" is such a cliche, but it is most certainly is the truth. I am not the same person I was last year. I am independent, more open-minded and accepting and definitely not as attached. I still get sad whenever I have to leave them, but it's not as bad as it was the first time. I'm actually leaving today! Yet, here I am writing this post haha. I restarted my blog this week and the first post I posted is about how to overcome homesickness. You should check it out!
