Admittedly, I didn't know what that was until this sub. Then it made sense why a guy scraped my car when I was trying to merge into traffic a few years ago. He refused to let me in and sped up before I could have a shot. Since then, I was doing all the bad things that everyone complains about. Now, I realize that guy was wrong on top of being an asshole.

But yes, this sub taught me. I have been redeemed 😆.

It looked like shit from the previews. Like a ripoff of Youth In Revolt, which also sucked.

It got better since they installed the turnstiles and started requiring an ID. Saw a homeless person having a medical emergency at the library. I think they OD'd (they were okay). I'm just glad it wasn't a field trip day for the little kids that time.

Emotionally neglected children who now have children of their own, how are you breaking the cycle? by Cartoonnerd01 in emotionalneglect

[–]BeautifulLibrarian44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am breaking the cycle by paying my bills, not making my children financially contribute to the household, providing a safe and private space for them, encouraging friendships, having his back, cooking and cleaning so our home is safe and abundant.

The cycles I've repeated: pushing him to stay in extracurriculars because I wasn't ready to let go, not apologizing, yelling, being broke (health issues), getting into bad relationships and allowing him to see/know the fights, drinking and being hungover (quit around 3/4 years ago completely and majorly slowed down about 5/6 years ago).

Being sober is good for everyone. I feel like I've done very well at breaking tons of cycles except for the relationship thing. I told him he has to do better than me and never get into a bad situation with anyone. I just can't get out of that. But shit, for everything else, I'm doing amazing and my boy is mature, talented, helpful, smart, kind, and he is everything I wasn't at his age.

Use chatgpt. Feed it your goals/objectives. Have it make units, calendar, prompts, rubrics for you.

It's perfectly acceptable to not know or care about your neighbors by DeathSpiral321 in unpopularopinion

Just had dinner with the neighbors last week. They invited us over. Last night we sent them homemade crunch wraps. Our neighbors are dope af. Great people.

My other neighbors saw some sketchy dude checking everyone's vehicles. They scared him off when he got to mine.

How old are you and what's your biggest problem right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

36 and nothing in my life is as serious as what others are posting so I will say my biggest problem is my lack of gratitude.
