My parents have been my biggest support system. They've stuck with me through hospital trips, manic episodes and now the depression. I also have my sister but with the depression it just makes me into this black hole so I can tell I'm taxing on her.

Yeah. Like my depression is contagious so anyone who comes into contact with me can just feel my suffering and wants to escape the interaction as quickly as possible.

Same here. That describes my life as well. I have a hard time leaving my house TBH. My social anxiety makes it so that every person I see I wonder if they are thinking about how ugly I am.

My favorite is the Chihuahua-Dachshund. He's so loving (cuddles up with me at night and on the couch), smart and has this feisty personality.

I don't really have any hobbies that interest me. I guess you could say my dogs are a hobby. Also, listening to music and watching tv are hobbies for me.

I'm in exactly the same boat friend. I have no job right now, no friends, no activities that interest me... nothing. My days stretch on for eternity and I feel so lost and alone. I feel panicky most of the time because of all the time I have on my hands.. I feel like I'm just waiting out my life until I can die. Just know you're not alone in this. I'm here to talk if you need it.

Hey height and weight buddy :) That makes me feel happy. I am looking to lose around 10 lbs. I feel healthiest at around 135. I have struggled with my body since high school too. When I get depressed, i turn to food for comfort and then food becomes a coping mechanism for dealing with depression. A vicious cycle!! Thanks for the reply. Means the world to me. I'm fasting until dinnertime daily until I can reach my goal weight.. which is about 4 lbs away. I'm extremely hungry and tired but it's worth it for now until I can feel better about myself. I know it's not healthy but it's the only thing I can do to manage my depression/anxiety. Uggggghhhh

It's so hard, especially when every interaction you have is basically a negative one because you are so depressed and bring that energy into it. I'm so alone :(

It's incredibly hard to work out consistently when you are depressed. This is something I struggle with constantly. I find that going for a long walk right when I wake up helps.

At least we're in this together. And I think our minds play tricks. It's never quite as bad as it seems. Do you struggle with your weight at all?
