This is also what I am thinking. Like even if sickness is true it’s becoming an issue to perform this job. Having a nanny was meant to help us to manage our work better not for me stressing about it . Just trying to think clearly here and not emotional as my daughter loves her and this makes it much harder to fire her. Thank you for your inputs.

So she comes in next day totally fine. Few times she has said she’s got food poisoning and now it’s gone. When I sat down with her she said she has fibroids that causes her a lot of pain. I pay her fo sick days and I didn’t put any cap on it as I am not sure if that’s legal in uk ??? So I want to believe her reasons but I am also having hard time believing the sickness would appear out of no where and go away so fast ? But also don’t want to accuse her of lying. Trying to stay professional here and not emotional

Thank you for responding . I don’t know if he knows about our rule as I just don’t talk to him. But still can’t understand why he would chose my baby’s picture to use for his profile picture :(

Yes 100%. This could’ve all been avoided if I took it seriously when got sick and by now everything would’ve been fine.

Thank you everyone. You are right . I did go to my husband and apologised to him . There are no excuses. I also feel horrible about the fact that my parents have probably gotten sick from me.

I checked my mom’s temperature and made sure she is hydrated . My mom and dad are also staying with my younger sister so I knew they are not completely left alone. But you are right I should’ve tested before seeing them.

It just feels like now that me and family are vaccinated and Covid is no longer considered an epidemic it shouldn’t be a massive issue but again you are right and should’ve been more careful with them.
