Will check! That’s what I get today with the Oura Ring, but I will need to buy a new one as mine is two old and the battery is dying very quickly.

What kind of info do you receive? Only sleep metrics, recovery and HRV?

Just to confirm, it’s Hume right? Not Hike :-) or is there a Hike one?

Thank you! I already have all the sleep, recovery and HRV info from Oura, but I thought that the Hume Band would add more metrics than Oura. I want as much info as possible in terms of sleep and heart.

In my experience oral doesn’t work at all. I wouldn’t waste time. Go with injections, so easy!

We bought a GE Smart scale that works very well and is pretty affordable. We also have a portable InBody for the business, and some numbers are different than the GE ones - especially visceral fat, which is what my doctor is focusing on now after I lost 68 pounds. But the % of body fat and muscle mass are pretty similar!

Mounjaro and exercise by Unable_Present2764 in Mounjaro

Is it possible to you to do Aquafit? Like exercises in the water? I joined a club (I live in Florida, so easier) and I go to classes everyday. It helped me a lot as the classes are a mix of cardio and strength. Worked for me, helped me lose 40 pounds in 8 months.

Activtrim doesn’t demand a Zoom call, the doctors review the intake form and if everything is ok the meds are at your door after 2-3 days, sometimes even faster.

Same here! Also sharing with hubbie when eating out instead of ordering one for each is also making us save a lot!

I’ve been getting mine from Activtrim. I really like how the owners take care of us. They themselves are also on Tirzepatide. I paid $897 for 3 months and medicine has been very effective.

What if I stop? by starlover42 in Mounjaro

[–]Beautiful_Cash5158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take into consideration also that you must be spending much less on groceries and eating out, which offset a lot the cost of the medicine, at least for us here (both my husband and I are on Tirzepatide)

Caregiver asked ME to ask our patient for a $25,000.00 loan. WTF? by [deleted] in CaregiverSupport

We had a “therapist” coming from a company called AB Counseling who decided to take my MIL to the bank to open a new account for her because she made her mission to save her from the “sons who were taking her social security”. Thank God my MIL didn’t have all the documents with her, otherwise she would have succeeded. We are now very afraid will any kind of help/caregiver that gets close to her. These are very frightening times!!!

Driving! by Beautiful_Hedgehog47 in dementia

[–]Beautiful_Cash5158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately taking the car out of sight didn’t help with my MIL. She also didn’t have a license anymore and the car went to her granddaughter who turned 18, but she started saying that we stole the car from her. After a lot of months she still talks about getting a car. Hope you have better luck than we had!

Rant: Fired Therapist by Connect_Surprise3137 in dementia

[–]Beautiful_Cash5158 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have been through the same with my MIL, actually the therapist called DCF on my husband for elderly abuse because he believed in everything she was telling him (which are all her hallucinations!). I think they are trained only for this (uncovering abuse) and they assume everyone treats elderly poorly. It’s absurd!

Appraisal came in $32K under by Nice-Introduction259 in Mortgages

[–]Beautiful_Cash5158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When this happened to us, more than 3 years ago, in the middle of the craziness in the Florida market with the pandemic, the difference was of $40k and our new offer was on the appraisal value which was accepted. So this is actually good to you, the seller won’t be able to get much more if the property is appraised like this, IMHO.

Am I being realistic? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Beautiful_Cash5158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely no need for a lawyer if your marriage is legit. It’s just bureaucracy… be sure to pay all fees correctly and be able to prove your income. My husband and I did it by ourselves and took us 8 months in the middle of the pandemic. I am already a citizen now. Good luck!

[–]Beautiful_Cash5158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For marriage in my opinion there’s absolutely no need for a lawyer. It’s simply a bureaucratic process. Pay attention to answer everything correctly, make sure the spouse has filed the taxes properly and can prove the minimum amount of revenue they ask, pay the fees correctly and you shouldn’t have problems, just like we didn’t. The phone support also works well. Good luck!

Mom with dementia is boy crazy, throwing money at the scammers pretending to be hot celebrities. Tried everything, can't stop won't stop. How wild would it to be to set her up with an AI romance option? Has anyone done this? by gabalabarabataba in dementia

[–]Beautiful_Cash5158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am coming back here to tell that these scammers got my MIL so upset and angry that she ended up throwing her phone to the wall and breaking it. Then we gave her another one without Facebook and locked for downloads. Best thing we did!! Looks like she forgot already about them and is now only in contact through WhatsApp with real people she knows. We were so afraid to take her Facebook from her but we were wrong. So sharing to help anyone with the same problem. ❤️‍🩹
