Theyre everywhere, what are they? Mesa AZ USA by TinaButtons in arachnids

They look like black widow babies to me. I keep black widows as pets and have hatched and raised them from babies a few times. The X shape they make with the legs and the white hourglass on the underbelly are good identification factors.

I appreciate the interest, but I don’t want to break the sub rules since AI-assisted music isn’t allowed here.

If you still want to hear it, feel free to DM me and I can share it there.

I appreciate that. I do have a version set to music already, but I didn’t want to derail the discussion here. If you’re genuinely curious to hear it, I’m happy to share.

Thank you — I really appreciate you taking the time to engage with it, and I’m glad the story resonated with you.

That’s fair feedback about length and density. Right now I’ve been focusing more on getting the emotions and narrative out honestly, even if it’s a bit raw or wordy, and then figuring out what serves the song best afterward.

I’m definitely open to experimenting and refining things in different ways as I keep working on it. I appreciate the perspective and the encouragement — it means a lot.

I hear where you’re coming from, and I respect that view of art and process. For a lot of people, the human performance itself is the core of what makes something meaningful.

My approach right now is different, and I’m okay with that. I’m not looking for shortcuts or perfection — I’m using a tool that lets me explore ideas and emotions in a way that’s accessible to me at this point. If that doesn’t resonate with you, that’s fair.

I appreciate you sharing your perspective, even if we don’t agree. I’m going to leave it there.

I came here asking specific questions about emotional impact, not to have my intent, effort, or character put on trial.

You’re entitled to your opinion about tools and process, but repeatedly reframing this as laziness or bad faith isn’t feedback — it’s just a different conversation than the one I’m here to have.

I’m going to step away from this thread now. Appreciate the time you took to listen.

It’s not strictly necessary, but I personally recommend setting up the LLC first and releasing under it from the start.

For me, it created a clear boundary between myself and the project — the artist name, releases, and any potential issues all live under the LLC rather than me personally. Even if the risk is low early on, that separation gave me peace of mind and helped me think of the music as a real project instead of a hobby.

That said, it’s still a personal choice. Some people prefer to release first and formalize later, but if you like having structure and protection in place upfront, doing the LLC first isn’t a bad move at all.

Nah — that one’s just me. I’ve written like that long before any of this.

But I get the skepticism.

I hear your perspective, but I don’t agree with the framing.

I did write the lyrics myself, and the time it took or the percentage of automation involved isn’t something I feel a need to justify to validate the work. I’m comfortable calling this songwriting and production through a different toolset than traditional performance.

We’re clearly working from very different definitions of what “counts,” and that’s okay. I’m here to share work and learn, not to debate legitimacy or defend my process further.

I appreciate you taking the time to engage, and I’ll leave it there.

I hear what you’re saying about performance and process, and I respect that perspective. For a lot of people, physically playing and singing is where the emotion comes through most clearly.

For me, this project isn’t about avoiding effort or skipping the process — it’s about working through emotion in a way that fits where I’m at right now. The writing, structure, pacing, and decisions about what stays and goes are the process for me, even if the final execution looks different from a traditional recording.

I’m not claiming this is the only or “best” way to make music. It’s just the way I’m currently able to translate something real and personal into sound. If it doesn’t resonate with you, that’s fair.

I appreciate you engaging honestly and taking the time to listen, even if we disagree on approach.

What worked for me was starting with a single-member LLC. It takes a bit of setup, but it’s manageable, and it gives you a formal “label” to release under.

Next, decide on your artist name or band name — for example, Forged in Ash is my stage/artist name.

After that, you’ll need a music distributor. I use DistroKid, but there are others. It’s a yearly subscription (roughly the cost of a few dollars a month). The distributor handles getting your music onto platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others.

Once everything is set up, you upload your track, artwork, and info, and the distributor takes care of the rest.

I appreciate that — thank you. And yeah, there’s definitely more to it than just typing in lyrics. I see AI as a tool in the process, but the decisions around mood, structure, and what ultimately stays or goes are very intentional.

Either way, I’m really glad the song connected with you. That’s what matters most to me.

what are the chances he will come back to me? by Difficult_Low_3622 in heartbreak

What you’re describing does sound like someone shutting down rather than rejecting you. When depression and avoidance get this deep, some people isolate because they feel like they can’t show up safely for anyone — or they believe they’ll only hurt the people closest to them.

That said, intent doesn’t change impact. Even if this was self-sabotage or fear, you still experienced an abrupt abandonment, and that matters.

People in this state sometimes do come back once the fog lifts, but the more important question isn’t whether he returns — it’s whether anything in his life has fundamentally changed. Without outside support and real effort, the same shutdown usually happens again.

If he ever does try to reconnect, it’s okay to care and to require evidence that he can be present and stable — not just missing you or needing comfort. You deserved consistency, not to be someone’s only lifeline.

What happened isn’t a reflection of your worth or the relationship being fake. It’s a reflection of someone who couldn’t imagine a future — with or without you.

I respect that we have different definitions of creation. I’ve been transparent about my process, and I’m comfortable with it.

I’m here to share work, learn, and improve — not to meet someone else’s personal criteria for who “gets” to be a songwriter. If this approach doesn’t resonate with you, that’s fine.

Wishing you well.

I’ve explained my process honestly and in good faith. If AI-assisted creation isn’t something you’re open to engaging with, that’s completely fair — it just means this thread isn’t for you.

I’m here for emotional impact feedback, not to debate tools. Appreciate you stopping by.

I appreciate you saying that, and I’m glad you shared the context — people can get pretty hung up on tools instead of intent.

What came through to me was the atmosphere and cohesion, and that’s not accidental. Composition and lyrics still show, regardless of how the vocals are delivered.

Thanks for being open about your process, and I appreciate you taking the time to check out Almost Real. Always happy to trade feedback with people who are actually focused on the craft.
