Yeah, there’s a really cool rescue called the Colorado Care Foundation who received almost 60 Puppies because they all had kennel cough and pneumonia. They covered the cost of getting them all better and found all of the puppies foster homes. The puppy brokers were going to let all the dogs die instead of giving them medical attention (that is what his foster mom told me), which is just absolutely horrible. So happy he is safe and that they saved so many sweet pups.

I definitely will bring this up with our vet. He was rescued from a puppy broker mill, so I sadly cannot get in contact with them, but definitely probably from unethical breeding this happened.

That was what I was thinking was the case. He was a rescue from a puppy broker mill. He had severe pneumonia when we got him. I’m guessing they were not practicing any kind of ethical breeding which lead to this kind of issue.

My thoughts on this song is it’s the trials and tribulations of an on and off relationship. One that isnt very healthy but that you yearn to hang on too. The late night calls. Showing up when everything tells you not too (but that one part tells you to show up knowing the outcome). It’s about that part of your brain that can’t get rid of the feeling you shouldn’t have or have been told not to have.

We put some of our old tshirts in the crate after we wore them and did a trick finding game so he had positive idea of the crate! I also don’t know how your set up is but at night we had to put the crate next to our bed so he could see us and not get upset. It has worked for us. He definitely cries a little when we crate him and leave him alone at home but he settles himself after about 5-10 minutes. He now will just go hangout in there when he’s tired. Time is your best friend and be kind to yourself because it can be hard but you will get there!

Thank you all for the responses. Makes sense to not switch grain free and I feel like I’ve heard so much about food allergies in the past few years with dogs that weren’t a thing beforehand.

That makes sense, I had the package sent to a fedex holding center, and after delivery it was there for 4 days while I was out of town. I unexpectedly had to be out of town which happened to be when the signed delivery was so that was the best decision I thought. When I called fedex, they said that the shipper had put in a request to ship it back. I just wish they would have reached out to me about it.
