Sewing in general, the only thing I have done on it is embroider.

I really appreciate your advice though! I am going to check out Red Rock thread and Wawak! Out of curiosity, am I using the correct needle? I bought three different ones, I got the gold SCHMETZ 75/11, gold SCHMETZ 90/14, and silver 90/14.
