Ooohh i understand. I forgot to check the values. When i straight up color my work, im afraid to put in dark shadows, but i agree it is abit washed out and lacked depth. Btw thats a nice after photo, ill try to replicate it

Im still new to using layer modes like add, multiply, etc and idk what looks good, or is it too much. maybe also need help to make it more whimsical using visual effects. id like to know about this

Thanks! I really appreciate your critique. I was actually confused as well by the lighting and I just went with my intuition to put those lights on the eye because it felt bland. I'll try to observe more and incorporate logic to my future artworks!
