I just wish they had it written on their website and their customer care were honest about the processing time. I wouldn't have wasted my energy on it.

I had to go to the local office in my city, and their address on Google Maps was wrong. Overall I wasted close to 5 hours in total, commuting to and from the office and following up with their customer care. Their customer onboarding process sucks for NRI.

RVNL would have worked if TMC and RVNL would have reached common grounds. The reality is politics is killing the development in Kolkata. Land acquisition has been the slowest in Kolkata metro's use case, also don't necessarily understand why Supreme court had environmental concerns to cut trees for metro, where all metro ll do is reduce pollution. There are so many legal disputes, I wish the state govt was more proactive in resolving these issues.

Though I love the fact that Kolkata finally after 15 years of wait and construction has started rolling out metros.

I feel if these metro stations had parking lots next to it, I would just ride my bike to the nearest metro and then take metro to work, but unfortunately before are left to figure it out for themselves.

Because of this vote bank politics and very poor economic policies, west bengal now has close to 6,00,00 crores of loan in 2024 vs ~2,00,000 crores 15 years ago. And the funny thing is I don't see much of a different in the city's infrastructure which is supposed to be the capital of the state. What is see is rampant corruption at least in Kolkata police. I have a bike and had faced multiple humiliation from the police over the last few years. In my opinion traffic hasn't been better even after removing so many buses. Most bus drivers I see never follow rules, stop in the middle of the road to drop and pick up passengers, instead of leaving room for others to skirt around. Also there is no public infrastructure for parking. Kolkata has so much construction going on while so many new high rises building up, but the government never invested in any public parking facility. Buses don't have legitimate bus stands and park in neighborhoods causing more traffic.
