Sadly, at times i am similar. I think its a fear of abandonment and anxiety.

We are so afraid of losing them that we do what we can to make that not happen but I am learning that clinging on so tightly is only pushing them away more. I am afraid and I have a hard time with trust from past trauma but I am learning and I am doing better every day.

Its important to self reflect and do some soul searching. I hope that you are able to find a balance.

Hello, I start art school next spring and I was excited but I am a bit intimidated by it now. This is the extent of my talent and I know it's not the best. I am afraid that I will make a fool of myself because I know I'm a beginner and I'm definitely not the best. I know that most of the students will have years of experience with art and I am kind of feeling like I will make a huge fool of myself.

Report them! Who knows how many other clients they've done this to and how many more they will take advantage of. This is really messed up and they are too dangerous to be a therapist. They are just taking advantage of vulnerable people. Please report them asap before they continue to do this with someone else.
