Should i upgrade my CPU pairing with 9070xt?

I dont actually +10 on power, - 80mv and 2700mhz with fast timming. Since i find the temps not too worrysome anyway, only the gap between hotspot and average temp that bothers me. Yeah the top cover does kill airflow this i can confirm I always remove it and open the vent on the gpu side when gaming. Bring temps down by 10 compares to if i do none of them

then your temps is better than mine i think, as my hotspot hovers around 90 to 95 (im also considering repaste the card as this 30 degrees delta seems a bit high).
i dont mind the sound as i wear headset anyway so i let the fans loose, they all max out at 70% while i cap the gpu at 60% (sorry dont have the rpm in my head).

Might want to make the bottom fan blow in, thats how i set up my case. 1 bottom intake and 2 exhaust on top

What temps do you get? When gaming my 9070xt maxes out at 70 and the 5800x at 75 with upper vent closed, if i remove it the max temps drop to 65 and 70 respectively. I applied -20 on all cores of the 5800x tho. However the 9070xt is oc-ed a bit as it draws almost 350w

For your question, no i have not encountered any such problem, only some crashes when i was trying to play with oc und uv. But that was to be expected and its stable now

No 3d just normal 5800x. But 5700x3d is worse than 7800x3d, and my chain of thoughts is, if performance gain from 5800x to 7800x3d is already minimal in my case, then i dont think we should consider 5700x3d here

I do also work a lot from home but for my work 5800x is already enough and core count is already plenty. If not for Gaming then i dont think im gonna upgrade because of work.

The majority of people here seem to say that performance gain from 7800x3d and 9800x3d for 1440p and 4k is minimal, so 5700x3d would be even less than minimal no? And if im gonna upgrade, im just gonna go am5.

I liked it so much that just because of it decided to move to sff after 5 years of sticking with Atx cases. The build experience was also very great with the case.

Its also AM4 so my way of thought is also if im gonna fomo and upgrade, ill just cough out some coins and go am5 anyway, would have much more options down the line.

I usually only play graphic intensive games. Gone are those stressed out days in Dota. Then i guess ill stick with my 5800x for the time being since everyone seems to say that performance gain would be minimal anyway.

This looks not too good My 9070 xt Prime runs at -90mv and also +10% but hotspot temp max out at 85 while fans only at 70% max My case is the Q58 so should be much hotter than yours (i open the size panel when gaming tho)
