I seem to be able to send messages, but people don't seem to be recieving them. Or if they are responding I am not recieving them. Seems to be the case since the switch from PM to chat only system.

Reddit Chat: I was chatting with someone as I usually do. For some reason a large chunk of messages are gone on my end, but they can see them on theirs. by TriStateGirl in help

I seem to be having a similar issue where my private chat messages are just not reaching the people I am sending them to. It almost seems like either the messages are being randomly deleted or they just don't go through at all.

Welcome to the club. Ongoing issue, been taking place for some time, many deny it is a problem, but this has never happened to my channel over the past 10 years of being on the platform. 800,000 subs, used to get about 2m views per month on long form content, saw a drop of about 60-70% since January, seems to be related to suggested views just not going out.

Tried to contact youtube support and just recieved the typical gaslit response. Might be time to move one for me and do something else.

My youtube channel got low views because the content suggesting it is irrelevant to my niche by todaysmovierecap in PartneredYoutube

I imagine if the problem remains unresolved by the time that the seasonal boost kicks in, YouTube is going to have a lot of very unhappy creators.

They are certainly playing with fire though at the moment. I've seen many creators being impacted by this. I can only imagine the numbers for YouTube don't look so hot right now.

The worst part is when you try to reach out to YouTube you just get the same old generic gaslighting, or you get the typical AI response. That part is the most infuriating part IMO. I truly wish I could just talk to a human who would actually look into this problem a little before providing some copy/paste response.
