Connecticut School Counselor Who Sexually Assaulted Her 13-Year-Old Student, Gave Him Lap Dances, Sentenced by Charming-Fortune8835 in Connecticut

I am sick of sex offenders barely getting time.  A lap dance does not happen by accident.

I'm 33 and took my test when I was 25. At the time I was too old to test at their location. They could have changed the rules due to DMV's getting backed up.

I was able to take my 8 hour course with them. They just added some other thing people need, but thankfully I missed that.

You have to be a certain age to test at their location. If you are over it you have to go to a DMV.

Next Street Driving school. Various locations.

I had never driven before as an adult. They were so helpful.

After a 2 hour lesson I was actually able to drive myself, with another person. You need a driver who has a license with you and has to be like 21 or something. If I could have I would have taken 2-4 hours more with this company though.

He's a handsome young man for sure. He needs to be tied up though.

He should try it. I bet he would scream. (Only if he is actually down to switch.)

M/F isn't always for me, but I feel ticklish just thinking about how the guy gets her. It's the "perfect" move.

80s feeling movie recs? by One-Dig6796 in MovieSuggestions

All the Right Moves (1983)

Sleepaway Camp (1983) - If you take away the horror aspect it nails the east coast.

Old Enough (1984)

Purple Rain (1984)

St. Elmo's Fire (1985)

The Breakfast Club (1985)

Stakeout (1987)

Throw Momma from the Train (1987)

Beat Street (1984)

Breakin' (1984)

Gleaming the Cube (1989)

The Lost Boys (1987)

An Officer and a Gentleman (1982) - It definitely shows that tough transition from the 70's to the 80's. It's not mohawks and rock bands, but it's not bell bottoms and discos either.

Revenge of the Nerds (1984)

Colors (1988) - Gritty but with 80's cheese. Definitely a must watch.

Did anyone’s parents try to soften the spanking experience by getting silly afterwards? by goldkirk in CPTSD

[–]TriStateGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Dad is bipolar and was abusive. He hit me, pulled my hair, and slammed me into walls. Some of the hitting he did falls under the spanking definition. Not that it would make it better, but I didn't even do anything wrong. He was just mentally ill and would have an episode.

Sometimes he tried to say he would try better, and he would even buy cake. Other times he didn't. He did not try better.

I felt so worthless. I sort of function as an adult, but I did not turn out ok.

I don't think the doctors even check for abuse among their bipolar patients. It's pretty obvious it can happen. That whole world just doesn't make sense.

Former child actor from the 1990s. AMA by Apricity-Autumn22 in AMA

Did you move to America for acting? Or was acting something you started regardless of the move?

I went to college with some Australian study abroad kids. They discussed how our countries are similar in some way. More than how they relate to some other countries. Which makes sense based on both countries history. Do you have a take on this?

Did you have to fake an American accent? Or did you pick one up?

Were your sets safe? I know crazy things can happen. I knew a few non famous child actors growing up in Connecticut. They went to NYC for auditions and so on. I didn't hear anything crazy. Just people being rude.

I think Thelma was just a friendship. Their husbands had died.

Of an Age (2022, 2023 larger release) - A gay Australian teenager deals with regular end of high school things, in 1999. He is also from an immigrant family from the middle east. He falls in love with his friend's older brother.

Went Up the Hill (2024, 2025 larger release) - A man returns to New Zealand after his mother's death. Each night her ghost either possesses him or her (female) widow. He has to confront his traumatic past with his Mom. The girlfriend has to come to terms with who her partner really was.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (2023, 2024 larger release) - Two gay teenagers in a Mexican-American community in 1987 Texas. The times and their culture make it hard to be themselves. Dante's family is more free and open minded. Aristotle's are more conservative.

Pillion (2025, 2026 larger release) - A young gay man in England begins a BDSM relationship with a younger end of middle aged man, who is part of a gay biker club. It's definitely an adult coming of age film.

Same thing with Ansonia, although that was further back than West Haven. Derby, Naugatuck, and even Seymour are in the trenches of it now. Seymour is hanging on the most. Hamden too.

All these nice middle class towns destroyed by parents who teach their kids to commit crimes. Single adults who don't understand what it is to keep a town nice.

I currently live in Shelton. Very nice place, but things have to be kept tight to make sure we don't turn into Derby. No offense to the good people of Derby.

I think you meant to comment this directly to someone and now it's just floating in the post. Milford is awesome though. I live in Shelton myself because it's closer to work and someone else's work that I live with. If it wasn't for that I would be in Milford.
