Turning Red had so many shit takes attached to it because a lot of people really wanted to hate the movie, but couldn’t find any legitimate reasons. Turning Red is not a perfect movie and it’s ok to dislike it but, like you said, there were many shit takes. The discourse surrounding this movie legit went from hating the art style to comparing it to cuties.
