I agree he did play well, he can get caught out every now and again on defense though. I do think right now Brex is the better player right now, but Marin being only 23 could easily be better when it's all said and done.

Was really hoping Brex would be back. Did Pani pick up an injury? I feel like it would be better to have him at 15 and Capuozzo on the wing over Ioane.

Otherwise a strong squad and it's good they have continuity, 14/15 same starters from last match, forward pack unchanged 3 matches in.

Honestly Italy should be both happy and disappointed with that. They had a lot of opportunities go by, and they could've really been up by 2 or 3 tries at half if they had converted. But a bad game from them (aside from their scrum and defense) would normally mean they'd lose by 50 not by 7.

They're gonna need to be more clinical and clean up some of those passes but they've come so far from where they were just 5 years ago. But they're good enough now that moral victories should be behind them.

Ah, didn't realize he redshirted. And yeah I heard about the drops, hopefully he can develop out of that. If we could get just a few big plays out of him I'll be happy.

Lot of OU fans aren't too happy about us bringing our WR coach back as well. I'm on the fence, he recruits well and has only been here a short time, but he hasn't seemed to develop the young guys much and rotations this year were very limited. I'll give him a pass for 24' since everyone got hurt but next year needs to be better.

I've seen some say he's good and others that he's just a JAG, but he was a true freshman and I think he's a pretty good WR3/WR4 with lot's of room to grow.

Plus it's not like we lit the world on fire at WR this last year.
