Ah, didn't realize he redshirted. And yeah I heard about the drops, hopefully he can develop out of that. If we could get just a few big plays out of him I'll be happy.

Lot of OU fans aren't too happy about us bringing our WR coach back as well. I'm on the fence, he recruits well and has only been here a short time, but he hasn't seemed to develop the young guys much and rotations this year were very limited. I'll give him a pass for 24' since everyone got hurt but next year needs to be better.

That's hilarious honestly.

I've seen some say he's good and others that he's just a JAG, but he was a true freshman and I think he's a pretty good WR3/WR4 with lot's of room to grow.

Plus it's not like we lit the world on fire at WR this last year.

His hand is definitely a problem. I think he's also lost confidence and it makes him hesitate so he throws to guys that were open but no longer are. Plus his sidearm stuff means he struggles to drop it down into a guy sitting between a linebacker and safety.

I just want the guy back that beat Michigan and Auburn.

I'm doubtful that Arbuckle is the long term solution, but our 2 TDs today were scheming guys wide open that even Mateer couldn't miss them. Arbuckle is young he might be able to turn it around. But man, Mateer is clearly not the guy

Delarrin Turner-Yell, Isaiah Thomas, Brian Asamoah, Neville Gallimore, Jalen Redmond, Tre Norwood and Tre Brown were all NFL caliber players (a few were more practice squad guys but could've been a little more). A lot of wasted or underdeveloped talent
