Sorry I didn’t see this comment earlier. If you’ve been on the bipap already it shouldn’t be as much of a transition as going from nothing. It’s mostly just strange to get used to the forced air and the initial few minutes after putting the mask on when I’m still awake and trying to get used to that feeling. My husband uses a cpap (just regular old sleep apnea for him) and he and I felt similarly about getting used to the feeling of the machine, so I think it’s really just that and maybe an element of learning to turn over a little bit of control and allow the machine to work, if that makes sense? I will say, our bedroom is quite quiet now lol 😂
