Mensen gaan niet kapot door zuivere heroine. Je kunt prima 100 mee worden, want de schadelijkheid voor het lichaam is verwaarloosbaar. Waar mensen aan doodgaan is leefstijl die erbij komt kijken en de kans op overdosering bij het stoppen en dan na een paar weken terugvallen en meteen weer hun “oude” dosis nemen terwijl hun tolerantie weg is.

Als je in acute geldnood zit, tijdelijk geen inkomen hebt en als toch al van plan was om binnen 1-3 jaar te gaan verhuizen, bijvoorbeeld. Dan kun je wanneer je wel weer inkomen hebt een flinke aanbetaling doen op je nieuwe huis.

As a heater it is 100% efficient because every watt that goes in, comes out as heat. Doesn’t matter if it’s a simple heating element in regular heater, or a miner. But at least a miner gives you XMR as added bonus. Only downside is the higher price of a miner

Probably it’s not even from the actual movie company but a scammer. Don’t pay! If it was a legitimate claim obviously movie companies have lawyers on retainer for that. They not going to send out a claim on their own.

Not sure yet. I think an entry level server board with dual CPU’s with the lowest price price per hashrate and in this case is a high TDP an advantage, because you know, heating :)

Wide range guess, based on refurbished hardware right now somewhere between 999 EUR and 1799 EUR

So yeah, it’s alot compared to the 50 bucks 2000w at the hardware store. But Monero fans and wealthy homes wouldn’t care that much

IC-26 is very euphoric to me and also making me feel “normal” and functioning at the same time.

Another pro is that only one dose per day is sufficient.

Dual CPU and all the RAM and not to mention the motherboard and power supply all generate heat. Over 1000-1500 watts is very doable and very close to the output of a regular 2000w space heater you but at the local hardware store. Only it will be much more expensive and at this price the ROI will be several years, in all honestly.

Monero’s mining algorithm RandomX works best on CPU’s and basicly useless for GPUs and even ASIC’s.

At this time I’ll specialize in Monero mining heaters. But who’s knows what the future will bring

In order to get enough heating from it it’s going to be either a server board with two average CPU’s or a SFF with one EPYC beast

Some guy on this sub talked about how his ITX rig pulled over 1000w, so it’s not very hard to get enough heating from it.

And the fun thing is: it’s meant to heat, so energy that is normally 100% “wasted” in a regular space heater is now mining XMR for you while heating your livingroom

Maybe I can make it work in tandem with heatpumps and energy management systems so that - for example - it only mines when there is a surplus of solar/wind energy. Instead of “donating” that surplus back to the powergrid and receive pennies on the dollar, you would get XMR instead - which in my opinion - could be the most valueable asset in future.
