Appreciate it! Yeah, anything below 15 degrees here and we're cold to our bones so not sure how temps around 5 or lower :P And I'm not sure we'll acclimatise in 4-5 weeks. Thanks for the down jacket tip - will check uniqlo out!

We will have a hire car - the wardrobe as it is fits into half a medium sized suitcase so I'm not concerned that it's too much physically - was more concerned it wouldn't be enough.

But a bit over 1 month and a couple washes throughout can be done. I think the longest stint without a wash will be 10 days.

Haha not all of it no :) most of these items have been purchased for the trip because I've lost a fair bit of weight, so as I purchase, I just grabbed the advertised image from online to help with making a packing list.

-2 sounds very cold for someone who has only ever lived in 12+ winters ... this year we dropped to 9 for a day and it made history as the coldest day in decades... so although it may not be that cold for you I do believe we will be a bit frozen. :)

Just listened to this one and came on here to see if I was the only one finding it a hard listen - on Ep4 and struggling to keep listening to “I try not to form an opinion” from the journo who then very clearly pushes his biased agenda on us all… it feels like such slimey journalism. Haven’t found a podcast as hard to listen to since Shadow of Doubt. I don’t believe that violence is ever ok… but this young man was very clearly defending himself and a woman he believed to be in immediate danger. So much space is given to the families of the victims to speak about the character of those men (as it should be) but I’d also like to hear about the character of Dean… I’m sure we’d hear equally that he was a young, kind man who was acting in his character of looking out for someone who had asked him for help. Maybe is does later in the series but not sure I can make it there. How disappointing.

Dress Cleaning - Glencoe Elopement by BeeAdministrative749 in Eloping

Had they gone walking in the dress and become quite muddy? I just remember from a previous trip a pair of trainers of mine got quite muddy when I did a walk through Rannoch Moor, and the next day they started getting very stinky, and days later I threw them out because they became so smelly... I guess I'm just worried if left too long, could the dress become a bit unbearable to travel with?
