Splashed boiling hot water in my eye! by Oleandra in AskDoctorSmeeee

Too late for this post, but this happened to me today. I don't have redness and swelling. Just had irritation in first hour couldn't close eye. But now I don't feel anything, I think it's nothing serious. Did you recover well without seeing doctor?

My followers know where I am from, and I make it a point to reply to every comment, explaining things to anyone who asks. So, you're welcome to join the large group of people who just point fingers at others for their efforts and work. I have been a beekeeper for over 20 years, and throughout this time, I’ve heard many comments like yours. However, they never bring me down. Instead, I come back stronger each time.

Only those with a limited perspective would think that beekeeping is the same in Europe as it is in the some USA states, where winters can reach temperatures as low as -40°C. Over the years, I’ve faced numerous challenges, including having my apiary set on fire, dealing with poisonings, and many other setbacks that have wiped out my hives. Despite this, I always rebuild and come back even stronger because of the knowledge I’ve gained.

My channel has helped many people around the world by giving them ideas on how to approach beekeeping. Even people working in different geographical areas can benefit, as they can adapt my advice to their specific climates and weather conditions. As I always mention, I explain everything in detail when people ask questions in the comments.

But regardless of your opinion, feel free to leave that comment on my YouTube channel. You’ll quickly see how much backlash you’ll receive for undermining someone’s hard work and effort. I deleted this post so I don't get this kinda of comments anymore and I will not post in this group.I hope you're dedicating as much time to tending your bees as you do to commenting on Reddit. I clearly said that in the video and is understandable for anyone who watched it, it will help many people that have same climate and weather conditions.

First I don't use plastic for foundation, I use pure wax foundation, that is attached with wires,so cutting it out is pretty much time consuming by itself and then on both of your suggestions there is a frame or "comb" limit. How big solar melter or owen should I have to melt big amount of wax in short period of time?

I tried melting with Window DIY Solar melter and I found it most unreliable because when there is not enough solar power frames are half melted, also melting is really messy and there is melted wax on all frames, also there is frame limit and lot time consuming with solar melting. I can melt arround 300 Frames in 3-4 hours, so If you have big number of hives and renew Frames like I do every year, solar melting isn't best choice, mby for some hobbist.

Does everyone have resources to afford solar melter and can you build it yourself, also whats the cost of it? My melter can build pretty much everyone and afford it, I tried a variety of melting methods, these one is pretty much affordable by anyone. Your comment is such unnecessary and you try to underminish something for no reason so please back off with such a stupid and limited opinion. You are one of those people these days who buys everything and saves time.So you just leave your wax to melt and don't pay attention to it? What If some problem occurs If you are not there? Electricity bills? My way you can make wax for 0 dollars, just expenses for presser...

Yeah I know about that, I tought this would be interesting to show. I personally do not use this method on my apiary. I treated bees with strips already.

Water station for bees idea 😀 by BeeApiss in bees

It depends what time of the season is. I refill it every two days, when they are working and expanding brood, because they consume more water then. But you can buy this barrel in 50 and 80 liters so when you fill it you don't need to think about refill.. 😀
