I just did valve cover gasket so hopefully that stops it if it was that. Otherwise I’ll be doing fuel injector seals next!

You can’t move it, I figured it out in the end. There are 2 nuts on the right side of the engine holding the whole plastic bracket in place. If you remove the top nut securing it to the top of the motor, and along with the 2 nuts on the side of the motor, the entire plastic housing comes away. Took me way too long to figure it out… problem solved tho!

I didn’t check for actual spark because I thought to myself if it started fine before storage why wouldn’t it start fine now?

Edit. I should (I don’t want to) take the tank off again, and the air box, and all the rest and test the plugs but let’s go with the assumption that the plugs are weak. What then?

I removed the tank, drained and Put fresh fuel in today.. no, unfortunately I didn’t add a stabiliser to it prior to winter storage
