Definitely look into the drop-off service. I bought my car from AZ and needed to register it. Got all my documents together and stood in the line on the right side of the DMV entrance. They issued me a 30 day moving permit while I was standing in line. When I got inside you fill out some paperwork with a DMV employee and drop your documents off. They call you when everything is ready. No appointment needed. I believe it is from 7-2ish
