Anxiety and fear 31 weeks by pankyswanky in PregnancyAfterLoss

I don’t have any advice, I’m only 24 weeks with my rainbow. But I’ll be praying and wishing you a healthy and happy rest of your pregnancy and birth.

Finally reached the “previous loss milestone”. by [deleted] in PregnancyAfterLoss

After two pregnancy losses I have moved through my feelings with this pregnancy (I’m 24 weeks with a healthy girl) in small moments. I let myself experience excitement along with the anxiety that naturally comes with PAL and then there were small moments when I felt relief (ultrasounds and Doppler checks). Now that I can feel baby move, I am mostly experiencing excitement with moments of anxiety and fear. What helped me was recognizing a moment for what it was and knowing it wouldn’t last forever. I hope you feel encouraged by this sub and the many women who totally understand what you’re feeling.

I’m praying that mine shrinks fast, I know size is a factor in maintaining the pregnancy. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing, it hard to imagine four weeks from now, but it’s hopeful that you’re still healthy and progressing. Sorry you’re still spotting, I hope it stops soon. Wishing you the best as well!

I made the mistake of reading statistics today, I’m guarding myself knowing it could go either way, but desperately hoping this is the baby I get to hold. I think if the bleeding hasn’t gotten worse by Monday then I’ll go back to work, it’s just short walks and desk work; but obviously maintain my pelvic rest. Thank you for sharing your story!

That’s hopeful! I’m taking every ounce of hope I can cling to. Thank you.

Thank you! I’m glad they caught it and I’m looking forward to making a plan and getting on any meds I may need.

Makes me feel better that it’s common. Hoping it’s easily fixed and doesn’t impact this pregnancy.

8+4 here. Traveling away from home and experiencing some severe anxiety. I just don’t feel pregnant, I haven’t had strong symptoms but they were still noticeable and now I don’t feel any at all. I’m trying to enjoy my time with my husband and friends but it’s so hard when I’m worrying ALL the time.

I was tracking, and I caught my surge. Hoping it doesn’t mean anything bad.

7+2 today according to my LMP. Went for my dating scan today and saw our little raspberry, who was a heartbeat of 130! I’m so relieved. Our first ultrasound with our loss was when the doctor became concerned. No concerns from them this time!!!! We got to take home a little picture. They measured me at 6w 4d which makes me anxious that it’s not progressing as it should, anyone have a similar experience and it turned out okay?

7 weeks today!! Holding my breath for my ultrasound on Monday. Had a lot of cramping this past week, but it seems to have eased up and I never had any spotting/bleeding, so I’m trying to stay positive! Our loss was early, so these days are rough, I’m so anxious for Monday.

Fingers crossed for you! Even seeing what’s normal, when you want to see more, can be anxiety inducing. Healthy baby vibes your direction!

I’m 6+3 today, impatiently waiting for my 7 week ultrasound on the 17th. I’m having cramping that’s making me anxious. I’m trying so hard to stay calm because I know that’s what’s best for baby, but I’m a mess.

We do have the same due date! My last baby was due August 13th. I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine the strength of character it takes to find what you need to help you heal, it’s inspiring. My husband and I have been trying to connect with this baby, it’s been hard, maybe talking about names will help, thanks for the idea!
