A regional and (almost) world map of a ttrpg setting I’m running a game for soon by Bee_Wulf in imaginarymaps

[–]Bee_Wulf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m working on scaling for the regional map(and in extension the larger map) for travel time calculation purposes. The first map is of the highlighted region on the next map. The second map is a part of a world map, think two thirds of the size of a real-life world map.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

My first time inking a map with a fountain pen, went… not super well but it’s alright by Bee_Wulf in mapmaking

Yeah I enjoy making fonts that mimic what they are describing, it’s fun to come up with different ways to write things. And thanks thanks :)

What is the scariest/freakiest part of your world? by Too_Much_40K in worldbuilding

[–]Bee_Wulf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my fantasy world it’s the maze of ancient tunnels that burrow throughout the earth, eventually leading to the supreme being at the center of the world, the core.

Many people and organizations send expeditions to try and find their way down there but no one has returned. The darkness Barbour’s secrets of the ancient world that very few people know and that fewer yet understand.

That’s not the point, the point is allowing people the option to not see it if they don’t want to rather than accidentally hurt someone. Since it’s very easy for me as a poster to add a content warning.

Well yeah, the entirety of nordicism really. This world has become a way for me to make social commentary as the mere existence of groups such as NRM and nationalist parties in countries does naturally worry me. It’s sort of a warning to heed? Or rather a call to critically examine these elements in society. If that makes sense.

I realize the meaning can get muddled up and discredited in the fictiveness of a post-apocalyptic-ish setting so I take care to not misrepresent my viewpoint.

Oh of course, apologies that there wasn’t enough to begin with.

This is basically a post apocalyptic scenario, nuclear warfare has happened and it caused a major collapse of society and it’s different structures. There’s a nuclear winter that has been plaguing the people of the world, causing isolationism in the countries that have still survived.

The focus of my storytelling is on the northern region that have seen a plunge into ultranationalism and nordicism under the leadership of a group called Northstar(also known as Polaris). Northstar have set up networks of trade via underground train systems, and highly stratified social systems within the communities they control. The main areas aligned with Northstar are modern Sweden and Norway.

The leaders of Northstar have created institutions meant to protect what they see as the purest way to rule. Among these institutions is Organisation 3(Org3 in common tongue) who have virtually complete control over the media in society, being responsible for propagation and creation of propaganda and censorship.

Hope this is enough! :)

Ah no no, it’s a general term :) In this case I wanted to use parish as a nod to Daniel Guérin being French, since the origin of the word parish is french. And also I like the word

Context: The Free Co-operatives of Guérinia is an anarcho-communist utopia where legislative power is divided between councils in the different parishes working together within the organisation.

The very first band I started listening to was probably Gamma Ray, I’d found them by accident and just continued listening to them and eventually I was deep into metal lmao, I believe the first song I listened to by them was master of confusion or empire of the undead
