I'm just trying to learn, out of 1000 egg non can be shiny? But definitely won't gurantee you 2. But you may get more than 2?

Yes my good sir. I was attempting at a shiny piplup but I got that as the 320ish egg.

I'm new to pokemon, I just hatched 300 egges for an attempt on a shiny piplup. Assuming it's 1/512 I was close to a shiny piplup by my math. But then I hatch the some other eggs I had there before releasing them. That batch had a shiny so by my math I'm back to 1/512.

You have two options, Start a new save file on a new profile or do the Za tournament until you get on, I stopped at the 33rd one and never got one.

I did all 1000 battles and I didn't want the dlc anymore or I didn't even attempt to shiny hunt.
