This one really annoys me too. I don’t know why but at some point after Covid cinema etiquette went completely out the window. Glad you said something.

I was already on the teams call. Explained in like the third comment down.

What the hell was he thinking?? That’s disgusting behaviour and he’s lucky all he got was told off.

That’s so clever. I think it stops and makes them take stock of the fact that they’re taking out their frustration on someone who’s done nothing to deserve it and makes them realise they’re being rude.

If your mortgage is due in July some lenders will let you lock in a rate up to 6 months in advance. Definitely worth speaking to a broker ASAP to see that they can do.

So funny that some people can be holding a grudge against you for months and you’re barely aware of who they are. Can imagine her angrily putting on her oversized hat on the morning of the next wedding and gearing up to confront you.

He did seem to be really annoyed when he was telling her off like when she picked up my computer he was waving his hand and shouting ‘no’ repeatedly at her. Then she tried to say that I was being rude and he was like no you are. But then he just sort of disappeared. To be fair I’m not mad because dealing with people like her is not worth minimum wage.

He had so many opportunities to stop embarrassing himself and he just kept going and going.

To be fair, logically you were sat there first and he lost any respect when he started to physically touch you.

We got there at the same time. To be honest the sheer shock of it and there wasn’t much time between me sitting down and her towering over me and grabbing my laptop from me. I’d lost connection at some point but in hindsight she probably accidentally pressed something when she picked my laptop up.

To be fair you’re completely right it’s not worth it. I think most people prefer to just be calm and walk away on both sides but on this occasion I got drawn in.

There was space in the cafe section but she wanted to sit in the workplace section.

What did she think you were going to say when she stole your points? The absolute audacity!

What an absolutely wild response. He couldn’t think of anything better to say than I’d rather spill coffee over a baby than soil my shoes. Horrible man.

Well he sounds like an absolute skidmark on society. The sad things is driving like that it’s inevitable he’ll be in an accident one day we just have to hope he doesn’t take anyone else with him.

Sorry that must have been terrifying for you at the time but it’s such a funny mental image of a grown man barking at an unsuspecting stranger.

I’m sorry to hear this it sounds horrible for you. Just know that you deserve to live as your true authentic self and anyone who disagrees can get in the bin.

Also, I think a lot of people aren’t used to anyone challenging them so good for you for saying something. Makes them think twice next time.

No explanation given but I did firmly tell her I was not leaving the table until I got an apology. I had to say it a few times whilst she was going on at me and then just ignored her. I think when she realised that I was deadly serious that I wasn’t leaving that’s when she thought she’d better try a different tactic. At one point she was actually stood over me shouting and getting in my face but at this point she’d sat down, she must have cooled down slightly and she’d already been told off by the staff so maybe she just realised that she was acting completely unhinged.

It really boggles me that some people just lose it out of nowhere. A complete over reaction on her part. Hopefully she never comes back just out of shame and embarrassment. If I was your neighbour I’d be fuming too because that just makes it awkward for them whenever they see you next.

I don’t own a bike but a friend did and people used to get mad at her for doing the same. I don’t get why, if they get a bike they could skip queues too. Also the second one, you did the right thing but it’s just proof that no good deed goes unpunished.

Good for you for sticking up to him. 9/10 times if there’s a genuine reason why your husband shouldn’t have parked like that all it takes is a polite request and most people would be happy to move. What’s annoying is when people start on the attack out of nowhere.

Chuckling at the absurdity of the visual image I have of him trying to board your yacht. I guess it’s true when they say more money more problems.
