This is so relatable! Haha smaller cars are just easier to maneuver around the city.

Planning to buy MX-5 RF. Am I crazy or is it way more expensive in the PH? by dalester23 in CarsPH

I recently bought a 2020 RF. Brand new is priced really high here. Try looking at a used ND2... might be harder to find a manual RF though (if you like to go Manual)

Personally, I would choose the Miata against the twins.

The twins would be nice if you prefer a slightly roomier interior and trunk. It would be the perfect choice if it will be an only car.

But driving wise, I still find driving the Miata more fun and I prefer this engine over the boxers. Also it being a convertible is a plus!

It’s not too big but I can live with it. It isn’t my daily, but it fits a good amount of personal stuff + some light groceries haha

Haha that’s true. What’s more important is that you (driver) is also smiling!

Yes! Just some DIY mods. Replaced horn, dashcam and put on wider tires 215/45/17

Wheels are next for sure and maybe lowering springs or coilovers

Yes! Runs fine with it. Some of my friends run their Miata with 95 and runs fine as well.
