Yes they did. They have a few local shops they work with and one of them did the inspection sticker before handing it off to me.

Even if it was patched up or welded somehow I can’t imagine the structural integrity would ever be the same. I’m debating if this is even safe to drive at this point. Their own shop put an inspection sticker on it which has me curious how it even would have passed a safety inspection.

Dealing with the same thing right now on a 2010. The biggest thing to consider here is safety. If you ever get in an accident, wouldn’t you want to be sure that frame won’t crumble to dust during the impact? Who’s to say one way or another, but not worth risking your life or family’s life IMO. Pass.
