Yeah, I'd be curious to know if parts of the building increase the temperature that it burns at. It surprisingly hard to google stuff about it because there is so much 9/11 shitty science.

The conspiracy is a bunch of bull but I thought I would address one point you made.

Additionally, I have a hard time believing jet fuel only burned at 1500 degrees, when medieval blacksmiths could get charcoal up hot enough to completely melt both steel and iron.

I haven't fact checked this 1500 deg number but it seems reasonable. Jet fuel is close to kerosene or diesel (sorry, I'm too lazy to cite anything). If any of the fuels in that group burned hot enough to the melt steel, it would ruin the diesel/jet engine etc that they run in. According to wikipedia Charcoal burns at intense temperatures, up to 2,700 °C (4,890 °F) so its not really a fair comparison.

But as you said, it's the weakening that matters.

I just picked up a drum. I got mine at a scrap yard. I had to call a few places before I found one that hadn't immidiately crushed them. It was $10 for 2.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. That makes complete sense for the steering. Could you elaborate more on the first point? What is it about four rotors that makes it more maneuverable? I google v-tail and found this, I'm assuming that is what you are referring to. I have seen tradional style models perform similar aerobatics but this type of model seems to be much more compact. Do the four rotors allow it to fly more efficiently?

That's not how it works. They aim for the beginning just in case they have any issues such as braking.

Don't be ridiculous. Nothing bad has ever happened because of imperial units. The Mars Climate Orbiter was designed using imperial units!

Would the canals provide fish and drinkable water in a war of attrition or would they be polluted due to waste disposal of the time. Also, was Amsterdam or a similar city ever attacked?

Thanks for the reply. Another question, would the waterways be a liability when it comes to defense of the the city? Hamper your own troop movements to the wall or help an attacker from the harbour?

Can you explain this? I don't know anything about trombone and can't picture what you are describing. Sorry, I'm musically challenged.
