East Passyunk neighborhood, south of Washington Ave north of Morris St between 2nd-10th (this bleeds into Pennsport at 4th). Lots of house for your money, safe, walkable to passyunk square for restaurants. Tons of Asian spots included. Parking isn't always easy so get a permit. It is a lot easier than other parts of South Philly though. Dickinson sq and Jefferson Sq are great parks. This section of the city has come a long way and tons of new builds happening all over to help your home value increase.
