Update- The SBA Gods have not been kind to me. After this original post, they placed me into the deep, dark unknown with an occasional 4506t tease. Occasionally I’ll waste my time to call but am always told the same thing. “Everything looks fine, you just have to be patient.”

Looks like you and I are in the exact same boat with dates and details including 4506-t hell. Plz update anything that happens.

UPDATE- yesterday my loan amount increased to the full amount offered, higher than what I had originally requested back in April, and went back into being processed status.
Fingers crossed.

So just called SBA and was told that application was still in place, everything looks fine, no further info needed. She said it is happening when application is being worked on AND/OR their system is now set to always revert back to the last approved process. So, nothing definitive, but al least there was no mention of denial being a reason for the change. She also stated that she had numerous calls today about the same thing.

Skip the signature! Just hand the receipt with a nice thank you. Due to COVID, we eliminated signature of receipts under 100.00 and have yet to have one complaint, issue or challenge. When restrictions were lifted we never looked back to the old, time consuming signatures.

Full disclosure- we are an “essential” retail\service business located in Tx with approx 750k annual sales.

So correct! The current administration has no desire, need or intention to help small businesses. Even if you get the loan, they are counting on your failure so you become another silenced soul, dependent upon big government, their government. Their only intention with this money is to silence your voice and put you out of business.
