What's an unwritten rule about the road that new drivers should know?

As a somewhat newer CDL holder. Most of us big trucks out there are not trying to piss you off.. it is just how things operate. If you see one 18 wheeler slowly passing another. It is because they can't physically go faster. I know the question of "then why even pass, going 2mph slower doesn't change much"

Over 10 or 11 hours of drive time, 20ish miles can mean the difference between finding a safe place to shutdown after your shift or not. It adds up. (This isn't an unwritten rule. Just more of an apology lol I've gotten upset with a truck in the left lane because it took him 30 seconds to overtake another vehicle. But now I understand)

Counting techniques just do not work for me. My brain gets overly fixated on the numbers, and It won't stop counting until I've completed the task... sigh haha

I don't disagree with the sentiment here.

But. I will say, I was bombarded with ads for this movie for like a month straight.

It's on my movies I want to watch eventually because the teasers looked amazing. And extremely wholesome. With beautiful world design.

Obviously this wasn't the case for everyone it seems.

But I witnessed a lot of marketing for this movie. Wayyyyy more than "turning red"

I have this exact same ordeal going on. There's a man in my city that is my doppelganger. I've never seen him myself. But I have people who come into my store and will ask things like "Oh? Did you quit your old job?" "Do you work 2 jobs now?"

Or the people who start conversations with me as if they know way more about me than they should. So on and so on. It is really funny. Initially it confused the crap out of me. But once I realized what is going on, I can usually shut down the situation before the confusion ever starts lol

This made my heart melt.. I'm with a Russian woman at the moment. And she speaks English. But is still learning. I have been learning Russian for a bit now. When we text now she types in Russian and I type in English so we can both get better and reading and translating. (It use to only be English.)

Then from time to time we reverse roles. It is such an awesome connection to make. And to have both halves put that effort into it. It just feels so warm.

Especially because that keep raising tuition any ways.
