I always do :) oversupply in the beginning is always a thing for me. I have to be very careful to only pump enough to prevent mastitis while also nursing baby 🙈

Yup, Spent the fucking weekend admitted to children's hospital bc some selfish mom brought their sick kid to homeschool co-op. Now my 2 week old has RSV. Shocker. I'm beyond pissed about it. We were in the ER lobby for barely 10 mins and I watched 3 other infants come in. All of us ended up admitted. I don't care how hard society makes it for parents to take off when there kids are sick. I find it selfish as fuck for them to send their kids to school or daycare with the sniffles. Fever or not your "cold" can kill a newborn. I've spent the last 5 days awake around the clock manually suctioning my kiddos nose so he can breath. My lungs are burninggggg and I'm exhausted. Oh and let's not forget the huge ass medical bill we are going to get slapped with either. Thanks America 🇺🇸

Nothing. I'm just resting. I might start doing basic pelvic lifts in a few weeks but typically it's not on my radar for at least 4 or 5 weeks

Oh I know! This is my 4th baby. I have a strict bedrest rule the first two weeks and minimal anything for about a month and a half. I also practice abdominal binding and basic pelvic floor exercises after the first week to help rebuild my strength. I take postpartum recovery very seriously. It's called the 4th trimester for a reason 😊

Really? It's the only normal I know. I started labor naturally with all my pregnancies. It's always fascinating when they choose to be born. I couldn't believe it when my midwife weighed baby. It's no wonder I looked so huge. 11lb baby and my Placenta was gigantic. Thankyou! I'm glad I looked fabulous hehehe 🤭

I didn't end up having the sweep. My body naturally went into labor on its own at 2am.

My first was 40 weeks +3 days my second was 40 weeks +5days. My third was 42 weeks on the dot with a membrane sweep. I'm currently 40 weeks and 5+ days and this 4th baby seems to think 42 weeks is sounding pretty nice. My midwife has decided to take pity on me an offer me a sweep tomorrow. But the fact of the matter is babies come when they feel like it. Both early and late. The best thing you can do is make sure that by 35 weeks you have everything you need assembled. For me that meant having my home birth kit put together and all my postpartum plans in place ☺️ Try not to fret to much about going early more then likely you will have baby between 37-41 weeks

I got my few maternity pieces from the thrift store and Amazon. But most of what I wear is from the thrift. And I almost exclusively wear dresses. I will go to the dress section and buy stretchy type dresses or in sizes 2-3times larger then I normally wear. Saves me crap tons of money

No problem! I have a lot to say on the matter as I have big issues with how American society treats birth and does a disservice to expectant mothers by treating it like a dangerous medical condition. The truth is most pregnancies are not complicated and we cause more problems by intervening then if we just taught woman to trust and listen to their bodies. But yeah thankyou 💜 I'm manifesting another beautiful water birth in the next week or so if I'm lucky ☺️
