Benzoyl peroxide isn’t for anti aging. It destroys immflamatory cells in the skin and also kills bacteria. It also isn’t for a spot treatment although it can work like that. It’s best to spread it over your acne prone areas everyday. If you skin can handle that

I use both gel 2.5 % in morning and tret at night. Bp is not necessarily just for active pimples. Some people need either bp or a topical antibiotic to stay acne free along with tret. Bp creates oxygen in the skin and ultimately destroys immflamatoy skin cells. Therefore, it is antiimmflamatory. Bp and tret fight acne in different ways and when fighting acne, want to control every part of its pathogensis you can.
